It looks beautiful, that color looks great, those rims match perfectly! My dad bought the 180b Blue Bird saloon back in 1979. It was our very first car, dad had just recently gotten his drivers license. I was just four years old back then but I still remember that dad took me outside to show it to me for the very first time. I must have said something like "Hurray, we also have a car now" LOL I remember that when we went on vacation with he 180b, fully packed and stacked with family and stuff, the exhaust hit the ground when leaving the parking area next to our home as the parking area was about 7 inches above street level and going from parking area level to street level meant a very short, steep descent. I also remember it to be very prone to rust, we did not live in a coastal region and the 180b was not used reguraly but I believe that the first hole appeared about three years later.on the outside of one of the wheel arches. I do not remember when my dad sold it and why. I especially liked and still like the round head lights and the tail lights.
Had one of these back in the day. Always liked it. Had a fairly decent solid feel about it, but they were prone to head gasket failure. I replaced mine myself. Not a terrible job.. I recall it being a tad thirsty as well.
Awesome! I'd swear that's a 200B? Especially front section & interior? Any follow up pics? I just picked up a '71 sedan with original paint. Country car all it's life so, very minimal rust. Just getting it sorted for a roady over the next week. Previous owner fitted a 5 speed. That's about the only mod so far lol. Then, it'll be my project for next few years. Picked up a set of SU's & big bore exhaust mani.
Because it wasn't a garage. It was that wide all the way to start with. We converted the front half over a year ago. Been saving up to do the rear half.
Owned one of these back in the 80's - silver with stick on pretend wood grain panels ! CBL 96V

That garage dude 😂 Glad you’ve still got this car, clean and simple
It will be better once finished. Il never sell this one. I love it far too much.
@@epicspecialz6059 you better not sell, this is a super rare car. and for the age its actually in good shape, because these cars rust away quickly
Can I please have the rims and tire size
