Hi mate, I’ve got this car, I’ve had it just over a year, went to Mercedes first to test drive a GLA worth 48k which was great to drive, but the Kia this model was a better and smoother ride, I’ve had no problems, such a lovely car, enjoy every drive I make, I was the first to have this model in the area, now there is quite a few, a great car to have, and those fake exhaust holes, a lot of people point them out, but this has been happening to other manufacturers for a few years now, so Kia isn’t the only car who has this, Goodluck to anyone buying this car, believe me, it’s great and I’m a fussy driver👍🏻
Awesome and thorough review, I really enjoyed it! Note - you actually can put the parcel shelf beneath the boot floor when the floor is in its higher position, you just need to flip the shelf upside down, and it fits perfectly. :)
I had never seen this car on the road, then a neighbor got one and I was intrigued. I took a test drive with the 1.5 tgdi DCT transmission... well done Kia. To be fair, the standard price is quite high, however Kia offer huge discounts when the customer asks. Price was the deciding factor however after a few thousand miles I can say it is a very well made car and I am surprised more of them are not being driven. I use it as a family car and it works very well that way.
I have the very same car,same colour,same engine but I chose the manual version.I test drove the DCT,it's quite good but I found on a couple of occasions.it got a little confused as to what gear it needed to be in.Like any type of automatic gearbox,you do loose some of the power.The manual,I found,is much crisper to drive and faster on acceleration,it's has better fuel consumption too. I agree with most of what you have said in your review,it's a brilliant car to drive,I love mine. Excellent honest review,thanks for posting.
Exactly! Kia and Hyundai are really a force to be reckoned with. especially now as they bring cars like the Stinger and i30N which have shaken up the big boys!
Got mine today was so excited to received it drove it around but what I’ve notice coming from the ceed to the xceed is the door pockets are smaller, the booth is huge also you can’t change drive mode in the manual version, definitely more space, even tho I have the 1.4 t is manual I find it’s slower to move off from the ceed but maybe that me I will keep driving to see, the sound system is amazing. Panoramic sunroof I thought would open wider but that’s not a problem, the auto adjustable seat is great for me and the seat does pump up high enough so I see clearly.
Hi there Lisa. I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying your new XCeed. I thought there would be differences between the XCeed and Ceed. But hopefully not too much to detract from the car.
The Seat Leon Review will be out next weekend. I currently have the new Golf for review and thought it might be an idea to release them together as they're very similar cars underneath.
@@AutoBears oh will look forward to that! I prefer the seat to the golf to look at bit more edgy, a golf is a golf at the end of the day. The Leon is more of a crazy golf (interesting and fun)
I was thinking to buy kia x-ceed . But there is no options about engine power. Why kia xceed 1l looks 10 times better then kia xceed 1.6l hibrid. I mean hibrid has ugly interior. Look the radio so small on hibrid car. Why stupid kia didn't make on nice car like xceed 1.6 with same interior like 1l xceed . Car is cheap designed by audi. Rear view so bad . Small rear windo. And no side windows. Skoda yeti has better rear visibility then xceed. Now the noise from wheels. Noise coming not because big wheels but because bad body design. Look at front doors . Doors going int to wheel arches. That Why big noise coming from. Bmw and few more cars has more space between front door and wheels. Those cars so quiet. So am angry about kia. Giving us 7 yers guarantee but not giving to us nice finished cars. So maybe peugeot 3008 are better than xceed. Or vw tiguan 2020 is better option than xceed

I’ve got a 2015 Sonata and the engine blew up at 42,000 miles despite changing the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

The Parcel shelf does fit in the boot if you turn it upside down.
It does, perfectly between the spare tyre and the boot floor.

Ordered Xceed 3 days ago manual gear box petrol because they wanted £2000 for diesel and automatic was £1000 on Motability car Nottingham

How was the Automatic Gears ?
The auto gears seemed ok. Similar to that of a VWG car.
Could the digital speedometers be changed via an update?
