Did you realize that the dark Lena is the only version without her own heart. Lillian ripped it out and replaced it with a kryptonite heart. Lena's heart is pure and good and will always fall into the light. But without it, she will become dark and ruthless. I think it is a beautiful symbol of Lena's good nature.
She didn’t call Lena a villain, but that she’ll have to treat her as one of she keeps doing whatever she’s doing with Lex! I think Kara did the right thing here, some tough love was needed, coz she’s tried everything else!
Very well said! This scene reminds me of the one between Oliver and Laurel in Arrow S2. He essentially gave her a similar speech, and it's exactly what she needed to start getting back on track.
Exactly! She's tried to overlook things Lena has done. She tried apologizing and putting all the blame solely on herself but at some point Lena's actions have to hold weight.
There's an important second mensage here. "I WILL have to treat you like a villain". If she WILL, she wasn't until now. Lena thought Kara treated her as a villain all this time and now she knows she was wrong.
Kara didn't call Lena a villain, She said she'd treat her like a villian IF Lena chooses to be one. She's giving her a choice to do the right thing. Honestly, Lena needed to hear that.
I completely agree. That was probably my favorite part of the episode. If Lena really wants to be good and not treated like a villain. Like she's said since the beginning, than she wouldn't act like one. I mean I understand that she's hurt that Kara didn't tell her, but the truth is she didn't have too. It's a lot like coming out. You decide who you tell and when you tell them. Not anyone else. So Kara gets to decide when or if she tells people her secret identity. It's okay for Lena to be a little upset that Kara didn't tell her. But the fact of the matter is that Lena decided to work with her brother. She also decided to trap Kara in the fortress. I'm proud of Kara for realising that she can't keep blaming herself for Lena's behavior. I do hope that Lena makes the right choice though. I want her to realise that Kara didn't owe her, her secret Identity. Even if they are best friends. If my best friend kept something like that from me I would understand that they didn't have to tell me. Just my opinion
Kara basically learned the lesson that Barry did whenever he time traveled; that changing a bad event in the past leads to something even worse happening down the line. At least they're consistent in that regard.
Yeah but when Barry did it, he created Savitar, which led to Barry getting trapped in the Speed Force, inacting Devoe's plan, leading to Cicada's origin, etc.
Someone else made a good point about the ending of this episode. Kara has desperately tried to hold their friendship together, doing everything in her power to get Lena to forgive her. But she has to let her go and Lena has to come back of her own accord. Only then will it be a stronger and closer friendship. There’s a reason why Mixy left that particular tape for Kara to see. Heretofore Lena hasn’t seen this side of Kara/SG, this tough love SG. And she wasn’t calling her a villain...but she said if she decided to behave as one, these will be the consequences. It’s really perfect, bc this pretty much confirms that whether CW makes Supercorp official or not, their friendship will definitely be much stronger after this. No sense in building them up this entire time to not have them reconcile at the end. Anyways, that’s my two cents lol.
Tara Jeter There relationship is stronger but true there is no sense making them a couple ,, I would of been here for them 5 seasons ,, more sisterly best-friend love (to me aswell m)
This was really well said because that's exactly what happens. Lena thought she would know once Lex turned on her. He hadn't don't anything that clued her in that he was up to something. She put on blinders and stuck to her guns. But then in season 6, she never again raises her voice to Kara. When she disagrees, she approaches it calmly and talks it out. She learned a lot from this. Kara drew a line in the sand and in the end, Lena chose the right way
For me, even if Lena is being manipulated now, this is the time for her to make the right decisions. Her heart wants everyone to be good, but that’s just not reality. She needs to be smarter now vs Lex + Leviathan.
Even if kara tells lena shes sorry for lying to her she is still gonna be mad and like kara said "maybe they were better of not friends" and it might be true
- Lena is willing to die to protect Kara, that’s love bish. - I am convinced Evil Lena is Morgana Pendragon reincarnated, damn. That look on her though. 🔥🔥 - Brainy is full blown evil, and Nia still loves him and remains hopeful to save him...SOUND FAMILIAR? 😏 - Lena shooting Kara with Kryptonite, that hurt. BUT...Kara was willing to die, rather than hurting Lena again. - Kara being so cold was so ooc for her. HOWEVER, I think what happened was Kara watched the tape, knows what happened and decided to give Lena the ultimatum. Could it have been worded differently, absolutely. Though , I don’t think Kara directly called Lena a villain. She said if Lena continued to work with Lex, she’d have to treat her like one. Kara knows Lena isn’t like Lex, and this tough love treatment may be the thing Lena needed. You could see it on he face, she was like, “Crap, what have I done? Working with my maniac of a brother could cost me the only person that loved me for me, regardless of my name.”
Kara knows villain is a trigger word for Lena and I admit as a lena fan I always get defensive about that, but in this case I think I’m low key ok with it. At first I reacted instantly with I hated seeing kara being tough towards Lena but I had to digest that scene and what Kara meant by it. I think it was tough love, using Lena’s trigger word to get her to realize what she’s doing. But yeah it a entire other thing that Kara doesn’t know what lex and Lillian are doing to lena beyond all of this. It’s a very complex/frustrating story between supercorp 😂
thing im confused bout is that if she did watch the tape wouldnt she know even more info on how much her family fucked her up therefore making kara feel softer for lena as a consequence of empathizing? hmmm
@@The0nly0neAlive or maybe that tape was about the future and not the past... maybe kara saw what she needed to do in order to make sure Lena doesn't go down the wrong path. 🤔
@@marcella6223 in the future ud also see how much her family is fucking her up is my point; its a constant thing just like lena doesnt see how kara is constantly fighting for her; they both dont see these important details about each other which kinda frustrates me
great reaction as always.. I think Lena's not being manipulated. She has a plan to beat Lex that's why she is working with him. But she's not telling anybody about her plans because she doesn't trust anybody. But may be now with Kara's ultimatum, Lena can share her plans with Kara and become friends again at the end.
andre I agree with your thought: I feel that she will go full chess pro on Lex , but I think the writers will play it so we as the audience don’t know that Kara knows her plans ( Kara will “play- along”) The audience will see Kara “going” after Lena, but ONLY during the finale will we find out- kill the beast from inside.
How many times has Lena tried to outsmart Lex and failed? He is a master at manipulation and in making her and everyone else believe they’ve got him figured out and ultimately he wins out.
I was about to comment on that also, What if Lena just decides to join Lex for now and then, later on, betrays him. Even though knowing it would hurt her for choosing Lex over Kara. But, for sure by the end of the season, they're going be friends again.
Adams reaction to Lena being dark was my whole mood during tht phase 🤣 Plus now the ball in on Lena's court all I see is tht Kara is trusting Lena to make the right choices n shown her the consequences now it's literally up to Lena Come on Lena 😂😭
Kara could not have given Lena more respect and trust than she did. She trusts Lena to safe herself and she will be there if Lena comes around. But if (IF) Lena decides to go dark, she will treat her like any other villain. Kara stops treating Lena as a victim. I believe that is what Lena needs. She can do anything!
Adam someone pointed out that only a spouse by law can plead the 5th for the defendant (Supergirl) 😱 so Katie nudge nudge wink wink 😉 you know at the end of the day even though Lex and Lilian are manipulating Lena they have not threatened her life so she can easily walk away and go to Supergirl for help which as of yet she has not chosen to do so maybe now that little threat will push her 💕
Clark Kent who the hell are you watching Adam reactions if you say stuff like this please I come here to share and I have the same views as Adam and I don’t expect this kind of stuff thank you 😊
jonathan powell i am just saying what someone pointed out and they seem to have done there homework and posted hard evidence and yes you can plead for yourself but not for the defendant unless it’s your spouse 🤷♀️
Pleading the fifth amendment is just a defense against self incrimination. However you can't legally be compelled to testify against your spouse. So if you know someone you are legally married to has committed a crime you can't be prosecuted for withholding the evidence of your testimony. That is an important distinction to make.
We don’t give Lena enough credit. She was free to choose her path from the very beginning. Even in presence of pain she had the choice to move on and it wasn’t as if she would do it alone, Kara herself wanted to still remain friends. Victimhood really isn’t her colour, it’s just something to justify doing whatever she wants for the sake of it. Also gotta remember she didn’t outright refuse Kara’s apology, she kept her hurt in while plotting and scheming villainously behind everyone’s back. Good or bad she’s still a Luthor.
was reading your comment and was just about to reply "She's still a Luther" until I got to the end lmao. Personally, I've never been a fan of Lena being a "good character". Was hoping when she first showed up, she'd be a stand-in for Lex who they couldn't use at the time, but now that they can, I almost just want her character off the show... (not that I hate the actress, but the character's personality feels like the exact same as she was when she first appeared....) Kara already has enough friend/sidekick characters that are more interesting, and Lex will always be the superior villain over her too, so she doesn't really fit in anywhere anymore.
VII it’s more than a surname. It’s how she was brought up. Even when she wanted to do good she went behind everyone’s back, using people and lying with the justification that they haven’t earned her trust. That last part should sound familiar. She can only see injustice when it is done against her. She maybe more than her family name but that is exactly why she is responsible for her own pain right now. Kara made the right decision, went about it the right way, even her tone and the way she spoke was fine. She can’t be anymore gentler when dealing with Lena. Not anymore.
@@zainhartono7193 I was being sarcastic. "Lena is still a luthor." Still, meaning not moving or all the same. One needs to recongise her character development from white to possible grey or black. A person can be both a villian and a victim of circumstance. To degrade her to a unchanged status of merely being born as a luthor is disregrading that change.
I love how Adam's reaction is more entertaining that the episode, I did like this episode a lot not enough to return to the show but it was good, I didn't like the last line kara said to lena but im glad she finally stands up for herself.
This ending broke my heart but to be fair Kara only said that if Lena chooses to continue working with Lex (becomes a villain) that she will treat her like the bad guy.
And she should. Lena is not above consequences, I don't care how rich she is. She has been playing with fire all season. It's been time that Kara put her foot down and gave her some tough love, enough is enough.
Sg conversation with Lena that was fantastic...She finally free the blame wow... Writers are smart i think they try to put we a choice that what is the future of Lena Bad or Good
I _really_ enjoyed Mxyzptlk this episode. He sent J’onn and Alex paintballing, threw out that meta-insult against Mon-El, was an absolute mood when watching SuperCorp, had his own funny ways of doing so, had a wholesome rapport with Kara, and apologised several times for being such an incel the last time we saw him. Definitely one of this episode’s biggest surprises for me!
Martina Ruiz I wish I could upvote this a thousand times. The reason Lena has not forgiven Kara is that she still believes what Lex said “that her friends played her.” Had Lena seen Kara defend her to Alex and James in season 2 she would know that Kara was not playing her.
This was a wake up call for Lena, she didn't call her a villain, Kara made a mistake she can't change that. But Lena is making bad choices and she needed it that to come around, and I think the outcome would be better because it will be Lena's decision to come back to the light and that would be awesome.
Lena is not getting manipulated by anyone, she choose to create the project "Non Nocere", lex is not forcing her, he's helping her we need to stop treating lena like she is a saint.
This episode, even four hours after watching it, is making me think. It seems the entire series Kara has seen Lena as Lena but now she is acknowledging the Luthor following Lena.
No, Kara is seeing how Lena is developing as an individual, and how change follows after a series of events. Lena is filled with darkness as a result of her circumstance and actions. And not predetermined by a mere family name.
Kara has every right to call Lena a villain because that’s what Lena is acting like she’s acting like a entitled spoiled brat. If she wants to act like a villain then Kara is gonna treat her like one. Lena did this to herself. She’s who gaslit Kara, who manipulated her, and tortured her, who assaulted her, and is creating a mind control device,....so yeah if Kara wants say that then she has every right
What I basically learned from this episode is that telling Lena will always result in something bad happening, but Lena still always comes back to the light, EXCEPT for the one timeline when Kara isn’t in her life. So Lena is still morally grey, but she wants to be good and having someone like Kara by her side makes that side of her come out IN THE END. So I believe that giving Lena the tough love ultimatum will result in her coming back, like she did in every other time line when Kara told her the truth. This also taught me that Kara actually did tell Lena at the perfectly right time. I always thought up until now that she waited too long, but I now see that this was the only way. The writers are making it pretty clear that since Lena and Kara were once friends, Lena will come back to her like she always does. And I’m so proud of Kara for forgiving herself and putting the ball in Lena’s court. Also, Lena is hot as a villain 😍
even though Lena is 100 percent a Villain, Kara didn't call her one, she said if you go through with what you 2 are planning I will stop you just like I would any other Villain, meaning Kara is saying she is a villain if she goes through with it, but mind controlling people, Trapping Kara at the Fortress of Solitude and stealing from there and a ton of much worse stuff that I can't think of right now
Kara not wanting to see a world, where her and Lena aren't friends, is GOALS! idk what to think of this! MY EMOTIONS HAVE BEEN ATTACKED!!!! also *LENA PLEAD THE FIFTH!* "What's Supergirl's real name?" Lena: " *I* plead the fifth" "The fifth": It states, that no one on trial [...] "shall be compelled... to be witness against himself." However, they can only plead the fifth to protect themselves, not the indiviual on trial or anyone else. *FEDERAL RULE OF EVIDENCE 501*- Testamonial privilege that permits a witness to refuse to testify against his or her *SPOUSE* ! EXCUSE ME? also also... the last sc scene was messed up! i get what kara is trying to say and do, but the wording was just f*cked up. The decision lies with lena now. She gets to decide! and she is going to choose Kara. Kara is giving her time and space without her to think about it! *if you love something let it go, if it comes back, it's yours* -if it doesn't it never was.-
1. Lena and Kara are like Romeo and Juliet, their damn families hate each other and make Kara's real identity a big problem for them. 2. Lena looks so good and hot in her villan's outfit omg
I glad for the ending, she really couldn't keep blaming herself for Lena's actions. That being said I do love Lena in all these aus uwu When she took the fifth and Kara gave her that look, I felt that. Also, although I still feel they dragged it too long, it makes sense that Kara "forgave" herself after seeing that the choice she made first was probably the best one, even if it was out of fear or selfshness.
Dude, I feel your pain!!! So okay, I was totally conflicted over the ending too... but here's how I see it. Like you said, Kara has apologized over and over again to Lena, and I do feel that she needs to move on from that, she's tried it enough. BUT, I didn't like Kara calling Lena a villain bit either. Having said that, what I think Kara meant was that if Lena decides to work with Lex, if she CHOOSES to be a "villain", then Kara is done defending her. Kara knows that Lena has made some questionable choices in the past and she's done sticking up for her and being used/manipulated in that way. I really do hope that the two of them can figure it all out though. I want my SuperCorp back on track!!!!
Can we not put words in the woman's mouth?? Kara never called Lena a villian. But she is saying that if Lena makes the decision to work eith Lex Luthor and help him follow through with whatever his crazy and evil scheme is she will treat her like one. It is time to give Lena some tough love. Crying and begging and apologizing and kissing Lena's ass has gotten Kara nowhere. Enough is enough. Lena is a grown ass woman and she is NOT stupid. That woman has a very good head on her shoulders and she KNOWS that her brother has something up his sleeve that is no good. It is time for Lena to woman up and be held accountable. She knows exactly what she is doing, nobody is pointing a gun to her head. Kara's responsibily as Supergirl is to protect National City at ALL costs. It does not matter who is putting it in danger, "friend" or not.
@@d.n.c.greatness7735 I never put words in Kara's mouth. If you read my whole comment you'll hopefully be able to understand what I was trying to get across... which is that if Lena CHOOSES to side with the villain (aka her brother) then Kara will have no choice but to treat Lena like a villain, because at that point, she will have made the choice herself to embrace it and become a villain along side Lex. Lena is a VERY intelligent woman though, and I do believe that she doesn't want to hurt anyone, and in fact wants tod do everything she can to prevent people from getting hurt. She will never go "full evil"... She doesn't have it in her.
@@TrixFromTheTick Well then that's my bad. I misunderstood what you were trying to say. I do agree with you tht she will never go full evil to the extent of the metallo Lena we saw in the different timeline. I agree Lena would nevee go that far. However I think the writers are still gonna have Lena work with Lex just to drag this storyline out even more. I hope she doesn't. Because doing the right thing here would be the first step in her redemption story/arc. But we will just have to wait and see what path Lena decides to choose.
You know it's ashame you don't react to Merlin I mean you would love the Gay tension between Merlin and Arthur, romance between Arthur and Gwen, and most of all Morgana played by yours truly Katie McGrath but then again you probably wouldn't like how she turned out later basically Merlin is Kara and Morgana is Lena
She is a villain now It’s sad to think that but Lena is the villain of her own story. All her decisions and her choosing to blame everyone else but herself is her biggest hubris
I think Kara's bluffing at that last scene. Despite what she said, she's too compassionate to treat Lena the same way that she will treat Lex. But Lena needed to hear that and realise that Kara has her limits. From now on, it would be nice to see the attempt at reconciliation to come from Lena.
Nope, she's not bluffing at all. If Lena brings harm to National City, it is her job as Supergirl to stop her. Lena is a grown ass woman. It's about damn time Kara starts treating her like one.
I do 100% agree with you that it would be nice to see an attempt at reconiciliation from Lena though. But I just do not think Kara is bluffing. Kara can be loving and forgiving. But when it comes down to the safety of her city, the Kara Zor-El that I know doesn't play.
D.N.C. Greatness Oh no, I’m not saying she’s bluffing about that. Kara will stop her. I just doubt that Kara would try to hit her with laser vision at first sight like she did with Lex 😂
@@loveunit21 Oh ok I get what you mean. I agree with that as well. She will take it more easy on Lena compared ro Lex I agree. She doesn't wanna hurt her. All she wants is too protect her city. And she still cares about Lena. She is just giving her what she needs, a wake up call to stop the madness. Hopefully Lena makes the right decision and things don't get that bad.
I don't feel Kara called Lena a villain here. I think it was more or less saying they both made mistakes, Kara is owning up to hers after apologizing countless times and is placing the ball in Lena's court. Like giving Lena an ultimatum to either do the right thing and not work with Lex whom they both know is a villain, or to go down that path wih him despite her good intentions and potentially be seen as the thing she hates. The look on Lena's face after Kara left looked almost contemplative. I'm very interested where this will go next
Adam my reaction was the same! I was even sad for a good hour after the episode... but then (after reading some comments in twitter) i realized this is exactly what needs to happen in order to fix supercorp. It wouldnt be healthy otherwise. I absolutely LOVE Lena and for her sake she is the one who needs to realize and meet Kara half way. I think Kara was using tough love.
She didn't really call Lena a villain, she was basically saying she was doing villainous things, and if he continues to do that she will treat her like she does any villain.
I’m glad Kara got over it but lowkey wished she told Lena what she had saw if she told her earlier on and I hope Lena can deal with the cards she got handed
I'm sorry, but the way Lena ist behaving, she IS a villian! I think she is smart enough to make better decisions. Yes, she has/had a terrible familylife, but you can't excuse everything with that. Please dont hate me but she has to be responsible for her actions the same way Kara is.
I love your reaction to evil Lena. "I stan. no, no, no" was 100% me. She looked amazing and I do kinda stan her. I would never want canon timeline Lena to be a villain but it was really cool to see the what if. Amazing reaction as always can't wait to see the next episode.
I find it interesting that in all of the scenarios in this episode the only one where Lena went evil was the one in which she never became friends with Kara and her mother replaced her heart the remnants of Kara's dead planet. I also liked that in the first scenario with Sam Lena was able to be honest about what was really bothering her: not knowing who was the real Kara. Was the real Kara the mild mannered reporter who always told her she was good or the superhero who convinced her boyfriend to break into her lab and told her that she couldn't know her real name because of her last name? And that really was Kara's biggest mistake and offence: playing two sides of herself deliberately against Lena in s3.
This reminds of me in Batwoman, where Beth from the other world is what would happen if Kate saved her earlier, like what would happen if Kara told Lena earlier.
Kara became Supergirl truly. She loves Lena and she is sorry she hurt her feelings. That said she can't risk an entire world on Lena's feelings. Lena is working with Lex knowing if the mood struck him he could gleefully kill or torture anyone. She hopes that even if Lena doesnt forgive her she will not help Lex, but if she chooses to help Lex and people are hurt she will treat Lena like anyone else.
I just found it a little unfair that Kara has all this knowledge about their friendship, I mean she literally saw 4 versions of it, what Lena knows about it ? nothing ! not even a tape of one version , or a tape of Kara in the DEO defending her, at least somethig.... but I agree with you , Kara apologized so many times, and should stop blaming herself, it is time for Lena to take the leap of faith
I feel like that last scene, Kara calling her a villain, is the kick in the pants Lena needs to realize she hates that that is how Kara sees her right now and that all it would take for her to be on the side of good again is to forgive Kara and be her friend. Although I think Lena is being a double agent anyway and is only working with Lex to stay on the inside of his plans
Kara is right. Lena is acting infuriating blaming Kara for all of her actions. She put Kara in a kryptonite cave and turned the Fortress against her as retaliation already. I'm tired of her victim complex. She's making her own (bad) decisions. Nothing Kara could do is worse than Lex.
I loved Kara’s tea at the end, it’s true! She’s not here to pretend words will fix everything, but at the same time - Lena can’t plan evil shenanigans with Lex and expect Kara not stand by Justice!
This episode should've happened eons ago. It makes literally no sense how Lena is acting but she is a villain now. She has to get treated like one. Kara needed to stop caring about her feelings when Lena is creating more problems than solutions. She isn't really getting manipulated when she's making the choices she's making to purposefully hurt Kara.
Kara watching videos: I would never think you're a villain! Kara at end: I'll treat you like a villain Although Kara had apologised enough so I mean Lena needs to show that she will always stand with Kara... 😔
This episode literally left me half conscious lol but I'm just glad that Kara is giving Lena a good wakeup call and that will play a huge part of Lena's character growth this season and find a better ground between the two
But... Lena IS a villain right now. What she did to Eve is not morally defensible just because she's sooo pretty and Eve was 'just' a baddy. And she did that BEFORE being manipulated into working with Lex. That's not to say Lena cannot still be redeemed. I want her to be, but "she's being manipulated" is not a license to commit evil. The Nazis manipulated each other into believing sh*t all over the place too, but that still doesn't excuse what they did. Right now Lena is choosing to be a villain and she is choosing to work with Lex, because, despite the manipulations she completely knows who he is and what he's capable of. So until she snaps out of all that, she DESERVES to hear herself being called a villain. I hope it shakes her awake.
Honestly I'm done with this show, I'm always so excited for the next episode but after I watch I'm left with this hollow feeling, it's never satisfying (and it's not because SC it's not canon even tho I'm all about SC raising but I know they just friends I'm OK with that it's fine whatever)
This episode was the most frustrating for me, I could spot flaws in all the alternative scenarios and that ending just THAT ENDING. Not saying Lena shouldn't have got some reality check, but just two episodes ago Kara was all like "not Lena, I know Lena She's in just as much danger as everyone one else" and I didn't saw anything in the alternative realities that would make Kara change like that and basically call her a villain (we all know that's all Lena heard) but the complete opposite girl should've learned something from Sam Arias
Juwn I mean Kara didn’t exactly call Lena a villain she says she’ll treat her like a villain she continues to go down through this path Lex. But at the same time Kara gave her an ultimatum to Lena and she knows has a choice to make and it was pretty much like tough love that Kara basically gave to Lena in my opinion.
No mater what Lena makes her own decisons just becuse she is hurt dosent mean that she can di any thing she wants if she tries to hurt pepole or control there minds then she is a villain and Kara needs to stop to stop any threat that comes her way
Like Alex said "I was happy for like five minutes" 😂 but seriously I was all done and happy with this episode until the end, really left me like wtf was that? That end to me was so ooc but anyways, 13:35 - 13:45 that was me, like you I went from happiness to angry in like 5 minutes after thinking about the episode 😅
I actually really like what the writers decided to do with that Kara and Lena end scene. Kara constantly believes that Lena is good and feels guilty that it's her fault that Lena decided to make bad decisions. However, Lena is a human too and the choices she makes is her own. It's Lena's own ignorance that makes her easy to manipulate by her family. Kara has in a way done all the chasing and Lena just pushes her away, so now Kara is just letting her go and Lena has to chase after Kara now if she wants to keep the friendship or continue working with her family and becoming enemies.
Light Moua Exactly this ultimatum to Lena will give her a reality check and she can’t always use the whole you lied to me excuse anymore like Lena is all grown ass woman and she’s acting like a 15-year-old teenager and yes we get that you got hurt and burn by your family and by Andrea before, and it hurts that Kara lied about her identity as supergirl But it’s time to make a choice for the goodness of your soul.
No one gonna talk about how Lena pleaded the fifth, which you can only do to prevent incriminating yourself or your *cough cough* WIFE. Lena and Kara were MARRIED In that timeline ... no one ruin my theory, my heart needs this not be true, k thanks .
Lena needed to hear this, it was harsh but necessary. Up until this point, Lena used Kara as her justification for her actions. Kara took that off the table, let her know that she will always be there for her when she's ready, but won't turn a blind eye to what she is doing. It crushed Lena to hear this, i think she was really hoping that Kara would keep fighting for them and when she didn't, Lena was crushed. It's why she started coming around and it took manipulation from Lex and Lilian to keep her away from Supergirl
I agree with what kara said actually it is time that lena heard that, because despite everything Lena can't see past her hurt anymore and now here choices are her own.
I think this is good, actually. I think Lena has been acting like a villain, and because nobody would ever tell her to her face she never really admitted it to herself. She could ignore it or deny it all she wanted. Now that Kara has said it, Lena can't just pretend anymore. She can't pretend that she's not becoming everything she swore she'd never be, everything she said she would fight against. A true friend tells a friend the truth. If you are doing some stupid shit, only your true friends will tell you "You're doing some stupid shit." Kara is just being a true friend to Lena, telling her that what she's doing now... people could easily label her a villain... and they wouldn't be entirely wrong. Good shit man, good shit.
It was an amazing episode, and the last minutes hurt like hell but I get it, Kara is throwing some Tough love on Lena so she forgives her which Lena didn't expect so I think is going to work. Plus she is working with Lex to get what she wants which are the waves to make everyone good! I mean Lena has such a pure heart and it's trying literally to bring world peace haha but she is not giving people a choice so that's where she is wrong and she needs to realise that and then help Kara and the others to stop what Lex is really planning!
Kara had to say that because Lena kept Blaming Kara for not telling her, which is actually Lena's mistakes and also Kara never call Lena a Villian, she's literally said that if Lena continues with her evil plans, then she will stop her "just like any other villian", which is not necessarily calling her one, just going to do the same thing as what she does to a villain.
2:09 I really believe this timeline could have worked like Oliver who was a human he was the green arrow and even after people knew the identity he was still able to protect most of his family like he sent William away and others were okay too. So I’m just here wonder Kara who is supergirl couldn’t protect them really doesn’t make sense. But anyway I might be missing a detail but I really thought this timeline would work.🧐🤨
Kara finally realizing that she's not responsible for Lena's actions? Amen, girl! It's so refreshing to see Kara stop treating this grown woman like fragile glass.
Love the episode.. But Kara needs to understand that Lena does not have this new info that Kara herself has received. She doesn't know about the alternate timelines.
Lena is NOT being manipulated. Lex already did that to her. You are not gonna actually tell me that Lena is not on the fence about him this time. Lena is NOT stupid. If she chooses to work with her wicked-ass brother. She damn consequences are on her, NOBODY ELSE.
So I don't understand why when Ben Lockwood and Otis kidnapped Lena, why Supergirl didn't arrive and rescue her exactly one second after Lena screamed. Or why Lena didn't have super security and trackers etc etc. Kara rescued Alex when she got kidnapped by the guy who knew her secret identity. So I call shenanigans, there should have been a way for that perfect no harm timeline to turn out well :( Oh well, hopefully what Kara said is enough to snap Lena out of her dark path and actually take responsibility and grow up and stop trying to reshape the world to suit her feelings.
I think what Kara said was very appropriate and middle ground. Lena has gotten so comfortable with Kara still sulking over lying to her. So now that Kara is standing up for herself giving Lena an ultimatum, I feel like Lena is shook and surprised. So now at this point she knows that it's HER decision to get her Kryptonian back or remain bratty and hurt, constantly blaming Kara. Sooooooo....
Supercorp is at the heart of Supergirl. It’s about hope in the darkest of times, and Kara is determined to have Lena see the hope again that she’s lost. I have faith. On a side note - this episode will spurn so many incredible fanfics. This will happen, that much is true.
BUT SHE DIDNT CALL HER A VILLAIN! She basically said if you go down the villain path (aka working with lex) then I’ll treat you like a villain. I didn’t get it the first time either but watching the scene over and over makes you realize that’s what she meant
Lena was just vibing making herself tea- IS NOTHING SACRED THESE DAYS
Oh my gosh, right? I was like, "Knock on the door. Kara, just knock on the door. This is not helping your rapport!"
My headcanon is Lena died and Lilian brought her back with the Metallo project.
Poor Lena :(
Don't mind me as I sit in the corner and cry T_T
Amen to that
DaffieChan that’s true
DaffieChan never thought of it like that
She didn’t call Lena a villain, but that she’ll have to treat her as one of she keeps doing whatever she’s doing with Lex! I think Kara did the right thing here, some tough love was needed, coz she’s tried everything else!
Yes!
Very well said! This scene reminds me of the one between Oliver and Laurel in Arrow S2. He essentially gave her a similar speech, and it's exactly what she needed to start getting back on track.
Bree Reeves yeah exactly! I’m really curious to see what happens from now on.
Honestly, Lena needed to hear that.
she is doing the right thing, non nocere is an amazing project
Exactly.. kara made the right decision. Lena needs to realize that working with Lex is a huge mistake
exactly
@@FuryOfTheSwarm Non Nocere is a terrible project and unpragmatic on so many levels
But she didn't f up anybody's life doing it😂.
@@MassielRoss Diggle got to keep his kids the way they were this time 😂
Yeah but when Barry did it, he created Savitar, which led to Barry getting trapped in the Speed Force, inacting Devoe's plan, leading to Cicada's origin, etc.
@@Reece_Hart yeah 😂 and nobody's sibling is dead 😂
Pleasantmsp I agree
Hahaha Lmao, their friendship is over forever
This was really well said because that's exactly what happens. Lena thought she would know once Lex turned on her. He hadn't don't anything that clued her in that he was up to something. She put on blinders and stuck to her guns. But then in season 6, she never again raises her voice to Kara. When she disagrees, she approaches it calmly and talks it out. She learned a lot from this. Kara drew a line in the sand and in the end, Lena chose the right way
Adam, your meltdown "SHE'S BEING MANIPULATED!!" ....has me howling over here. 😄
What I got from this episode is that Kara made every decision perfectly, considering.
- Lena is willing to die to protect Kara, that’s love bish.
- I am convinced Evil Lena is Morgana Pendragon reincarnated, damn. That look on her though. 🔥🔥
- Brainy is full blown evil, and Nia still loves him and remains hopeful to save him...SOUND FAMILIAR? 😏
- Lena shooting Kara with Kryptonite, that hurt.
13:35 - 13:45 best part ever. I laughed so hard, i couldn't even breath. Literally me.
Adam your reaction is priceless.
It’s a very complex/frustrating story between supercorp 😂
thing im confused bout is that if she did watch the tape wouldnt she know even more info on how much her family fucked her up therefore making kara feel softer for lena as a consequence of empathizing? hmmm
IKR.
@@The0nly0neAlive or maybe that tape was about the future and not the past... maybe kara saw what she needed to do in order to make sure Lena doesn't go down the wrong path. 🤔
@@marcella6223 in the future ud also see how much her family is fucking her up is my point; its a constant thing just like lena doesnt see how kara is constantly fighting for her; they both dont see these important details about each other which kinda frustrates me
It's just hard facts, Lena is making odd decisions. She is letting her hurt from Kara influence her current ones. It IS on Lena.
great reaction as always..
I think Lena's not being manipulated. She has a plan to beat Lex that's why she is working with him. But she's not telling anybody about her plans because she doesn't trust anybody. But may be now with Kara's ultimatum, Lena can share her plans with Kara and become friends again at the end.
andre I agree with your thought: I feel that she will go full chess pro on Lex , but I think the writers will play it so we as the audience don’t know that Kara knows her plans ( Kara will “play- along”)
The audience will see Kara “going” after Lena, but ONLY during the finale will we find out- kill the beast from inside.
How many times has Lena tried to outsmart Lex and failed? He is a master at manipulation and in making her and everyone else believe they’ve got him figured out and ultimately he wins out.
andre that’s what I was thinking but idk now
I was about to comment on that also, What if Lena just decides to join Lex for now and then, later on, betrays him. Even though knowing it would hurt her for choosing Lex over Kara. But, for sure by the end of the season, they're going be friends again.
@@embrya26 ya, that's fare: side note, I really love a good villain.
Kara is using reverse psychology to stop Lena from going on dark path.
Adams reaction to Lena being dark was my whole mood during tht phase 🤣
Plus now the ball in on Lena's court all I see is tht Kara is trusting Lena to make the right choices n shown her the consequences now it's literally up to Lena
Come on Lena 😂😭
Kara could not have given Lena more respect and trust than she did.
She trusts Lena to safe herself and she will be there if Lena comes around.
But if (IF) Lena decides to go dark, she will treat her like any other villain.
Kara stops treating Lena as a victim. I believe that is what Lena needs. She can do anything!
*"I'm done blaming myself for your bad decisions" Dang TEEEEAAAA!*
Adam someone pointed out that only a spouse by law can plead the 5th for the defendant (Supergirl) 😱 so Katie nudge nudge wink wink 😉 you know at the end of the day even though Lex and Lilian are manipulating Lena they have not threatened her life so she can easily walk away and go to Supergirl for help which as of yet she has not chosen to do so maybe now that little threat will push her 💕
Lmao,they both straight
Clark Kent who the hell are you watching Adam reactions if you say stuff like this please I come here to share and I have the same views as Adam and I don’t expect this kind of stuff thank you 😊
I thought anyone can plead the fifth to prevent self incrimination during a trial.
jonathan powell i am just saying what someone pointed out and they seem to have done there homework and posted hard evidence and yes you can plead for yourself but not for the defendant unless it’s your spouse 🤷♀️
Omg finally someone that don't see her as a victim...finally....
Yes, we are defined by our family name and not our past experience and individual actions. I see that now. Thanks.
was reading your comment and was just about to reply "She's still a Luther" until I got to the end lmao.
D.N.C. Greatness PERIOD!!!!!!!!
Sg conversation with Lena that was fantastic...She finally free the blame wow... Writers are smart i think they try to put we a choice that what is the future of Lena Bad or Good
Agree
I _really_ enjoyed Mxyzptlk this episode. He sent J’onn and Alex paintballing, threw out that meta-insult against Mon-El, was an absolute mood when watching SuperCorp, had his own funny ways of doing so, had a wholesome rapport with Kara, and apologised several times for being such an incel the last time we saw him. Definitely one of this episode’s biggest surprises for me!
MR. Myxsmthsmth SHOULDVE WENT TO LENA INSTEAD AND MADE LENa WATCH THEIR MOMENTS AND THE TIMES KARA FOUGHT AND DEFENDED HER KSKSKSKSKSKSKSMY HEART
Martina Ruiz I wish I could upvote this a thousand times. The reason Lena has not forgiven Kara is that she still believes what Lex said “that her friends played her.” Had Lena seen Kara defend her to Alex and James in season 2 she would know that Kara was not playing her.
This is the ultimate comment! Fight me if you dare
13:37 she’s beEN MANIPULATED
I know it was probably never going to happen in this episode, but who else wanted an alternate version where they had a romantic timeline.
This was a wake up call for Lena, she didn't call her a villain, Kara made a mistake she can't change that. But Lena is making bad choices and she needed it that to come around, and I think the outcome would be better because it will be Lena's decision to come back to the light and that would be awesome.
She didn’t call her a villain she said she will stop her like she would a villain
She’s who gaslit Kara, who manipulated her, and tortured her, who assaulted her, and is creating a mind control device,....so yeah if Kara wants say that then she has every right
Yeah you are totally right
Preach it!!!!!
Also, Lena is hot as a villain 😍
even though Lena is 100 percent a Villain, Kara didn't call her one, she said if you go through with what you 2 are planning I will stop you just like I would any other Villain, meaning Kara is saying she is a villain if she goes through with it,
but mind controlling people, Trapping Kara at the Fortress of Solitude and stealing from there and a ton of much worse stuff that I can't think of right now
Kara not wanting to see a world, where her and Lena aren't friends, is GOALS!
idk what to think of this! MY EMOTIONS HAVE BEEN ATTACKED!!!!
also *LENA PLEAD THE FIFTH!*
"What's Supergirl's real name?" Lena: " *I* plead the fifth"
"The fifth": It states, that no one on trial [...] "shall be compelled... to be witness against himself." However, they can only plead the fifth to protect themselves, not the
indiviual on trial or anyone else.
That being said I do love Lena in all these aus uwu
When she took the fifth and Kara gave her that look, I felt that.
Also, although I still feel they dragged it too long, it makes sense that Kara "forgave" herself after seeing that the choice she made first was probably the best one, even if it was out of fear or selfshness.
"Then why are you here?"
Katie's delivery of that line is one of her best of the series. (But you skipped it here) 💕
Dude, I feel your pain!!!
D.N.C. Greatness exactly and I’m glad that Kara gave Lena that ultimatum it’s time to make a choice for where you stand Lena Luthor.
He really should watch it, that show its still amazing to this day.
Yeah, we need to get him to watch and react to Merlin.
She is a villain now It’s sad to think that but Lena is the villain of her own story. All her decisions and her choosing to blame everyone else but herself is her biggest hubris
You always put a smile on my face, thank you!(also that last line...)
I think Kara's bluffing at that last scene. Despite what she said, she's too compassionate to treat Lena the same way that she will treat Lex. But Lena needed to hear that and realise that Kara has her limits. From now on, it would be nice to see the attempt at reconciliation to come from Lena.
Loveunit I hope you’re right I really do
Nope, she's not bluffing at all.
Adam being every supercorp fan in denial with that episode lol.
I’m glad Kara got over it but lowkey wished she told Lena what she had saw if she told her earlier on and I hope Lena can deal with the cards she got handed
Sometimes some hard stuff must be said so people may realize things and change their path
Kara DID NOT call her a villain, listen carefully. Only if she chooses that path of helping Lex, THEN she becomes a villain
This.
not seeing your Oliver Queen funko pop next to felicity’s got me 😭
hahahah only for this episode cause it was supergirl's 100th :P
I'm sorry, but the way Lena ist behaving, she IS a villian! I think she is smart enough to make better decisions. Yes, she has/had a terrible familylife, but you can't excuse everything with that. Please dont hate me but she has to be responsible for her actions the same way Kara is.
Personally i'm agree with you
I love your reaction to evil Lena. "I stan. no, no, no" was 100% me. She looked amazing and I do kinda stan her. I would never want canon timeline Lena to be a villain but it was really cool to see the what if. Amazing reaction as always can't wait to see the next episode.
Am I the only one that thinks myx’s laptop showing supergirl season 5,4 etc adorable
I'm so f@cking weak you had and still have me ugly laughing so hard through out these two reactions 💯💀😩😖🤣🤣😭
This episode ❤😭💔
I call this the fan appreciation episode
99% of this video is Adam going AAAAAH or OOOOOH
I feel like that last scene, Kara calling her a villain, is the kick in the pants Lena needs to realize she hates that that is how Kara sees her right now and that all it would take for her to be on the side of good again is to forgive Kara and be her friend. Although I think Lena is being a double agent anyway and is only working with Lex to stay on the inside of his plans
Honestly that's my theory since Lena agreed to work with her brother, but I doubt SG writers were that smart. I don't trust them at all.
Honestly, I feel like this tough love route Kara's taking with Lena will be a wake up call for her.
7:43 when see your two mommies fighting :( I need mental support...
I can't help it but I want to see more of Morgana Luthor even though there was levels of pain involved
Kara delivered some tough love at the end
Kara watching videos: I would never think you're a villain!
Kara at end: I'll treat you like a villain
Although Kara had apologised enough so I mean Lena needs to show that she will always stand with Kara...
"We can take care of ourselves!"
*as it turns out, they could not*
Honestly I'm done with this show, I'm always so excited for the next episode but after I watch I'm left with this hollow feeling, it's never satisfying (and it's not because SC it's not canon even tho I'm all about SC raising but I know they just friends I'm OK with that it's fine whatever)
If I was Kara I would make Myx take this evidence to Lena to prove I was right to not tell her for both of our own safety. Boom. Validated!
4:37 "She's full on evil, though! I stan. Nooo!!!" I related to every second of this, but this might have been #1.
Did you know that by pleading the 5th amendment, it just proved that they are married!!
Lol,just in your dreams, they both straight
No wedding ring. You can plead it to prevent self incriminating.
Nice to see finally that Kara revealed herself as Kara Danvers when she was supergirl, and not the other way around
You should watch tagged the person who plays Penelope of legacies is on it😆🥰😄
I had to rewatch your reaction. Did you see the look from Kara to Lena when she said she wouldn’t give up her identity. That was not a “ friend “ look
I don't think that Kara call Lena a Villain. I think she mean that if Lena go with lex she will consider her a Villain.
3:10
Adam be like: “That’s strike one!”
But anyway I might be missing a detail but I really thought this timeline would work.🧐🤨
The villains continously kidnapped those same people and killed quite a few also. Oliver's life was spent protecting those people more than the city.
So I call shenanigans, there should have been a way for that perfect no harm timeline to turn out well :(
Oh well, hopefully what Kara said is enough to snap Lena out of her dark path and actually take responsibility and grow up and stop trying to reshape the world to suit her feelings.
Imagine Lena completing Non Nocere and Lex using it against Lena and Kara coming to the rescue and them hugging :c
