    Topical collagen has not been shown to increase collagen production, but it can act as a humectant.

    • @rayliur

      While that is mostly true, collagen is often not effective because it molecule is so big. It needs to be broken down into amino acids or peptides for it to work, so thats why Mary and May uses low molecular collagen. Its a cleanser, so im not expecting the collagen to do much anyway.

    Thanks for the review! I’ve been eyeing this brand for awhile but haven’t seen too many reviews about it!

    I have tried some of the M&M line, but not all. I am most impressed by and most consistently use the Idabenone + blackberry complex serum, as well as the essence and moisturizer from that line. FYI: I have mature dry/dehydrated skin made reactive/sensitive by rosacea. P.S. I remember when I thought 30 was aging, but I now have a 28 year old daughter and know that 30 is young😊

      Thank you, Tazzi! I'm so glad I'm able to help you feel more comfortable with Korean skincare. My friend Jess Does a Thing is such a huge advocate for k skincare. And yes! Youthfulness comes from within 😀

    I just found u but I can already tell I like you and you seem to be very passionate and your style of video and aesthetic is amazing. I'm gonna sub.
    I bought the Mary & May Ibendenone Serum and I really like it I'm gonna try more of the serums but I wish the rest was frangerance and essential oil free idk why they made their serums and moisturizer frangerance free but not the toners mask and wash kids disappointing cause I really try to stay away from those ingredients having really sensitive skin, I have noticed that the past year cutting those ingredients out and drying alcohols my skin has been so much better.

      Thank you so much! It really means a lot! Definitely not a fragrance or EO fan 😭 And I have some of Mary&May’s other serums but haven’t had time to try them yet.

      Can u suggest what the best for my dry n acne prone skin. I have used some moisturizer but it actually make my skin kind of a bit dry
      So, I didn't want to breakouts much more again. Kind of scare to once again try another moisturizer.

    Amazing review 👍 I have dry skin but also prone to dehydration, so is it a good choice to use their bifida toner and their cream after that? Will that provide a good amount of moisture and occlusivity? 😀

    • @rayliur
      @rayliur  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you for watching! Occlusivity, yes. But I would also add an extra hydrating toner with panthenol or HA for dry skin. Just the keep the skin hydrated under the sealant.

    Can we use the intense cream at night?

    • @rayliur
      @rayliur  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course! It’s actually best to be used at night to repair your skin and barrier

    The cleansing collagen foam is so so weird, never had any clenaser like this, when you cleanse your face and rinse it your face is like so tight, my hair got on my face and I couldn't get them off cuz it literally stick to my skin but when i dried my face a bit it was okay

    • @rayliur
      @rayliur  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, it's definitely an interesting texture. Not a cleanser I would be excited to use... I prefer gel cleanser.

    • @XheraPhine
      @XheraPhine 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I really dislike that cleanser! It just will not rinse off, no matter how hard I try, and it leaves a film on my face. I got it as a sample, tried it twice, and never again. (Edited due to typos)

    Can you layer the idebenone serum with a vitamin c serum?

    • @rayliur
      @rayliur  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question! There's really no need to. Idebenone is a superior antioxidant in my opinion, and it's gentler than vitamin C. Vice versa, if you're certain vitamin C is better for you, then there's no need for idebenone. Hope this helps :)

    Vitamin C + Bifida Lotion 120ml is it acne friendly?

    • @rayliur
      @rayliur  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Some people may react poorly to bifida due to fermentation.
