Thank you for watching and I appreciate the feedback. Having the angled side down is night and day better depending on how loose or tight your pants are! 🍻
@@dlowder Yeti always says everything is a limited release, then always release more later down the road. They’ve got me a few times with that “create urgency” play. Good video tho, I’ve been waiting for someone to make one. I really don’t drink except when I’m on the beach, and that’s corona time for me, so idk how useful this would be to me, but you better believe I still want one.
I think the single wall design is perfect for a flask, as long as it thicker than average… it’s supposed to be easily carried & concealable. Double walls would double the weight & increase the dimensions by a significant amount. What they should’ve done was: 1- Make the cap magnetic so it’s easy to store when drinking/filling 2- Somehow make it easier to clean than the competition, maybe by making the spout a bigger or making the entire top removable. 3- Since they’re expanding the materials used in their products (Ceramic, plastic, cast iron) they could’ve made this out of Titanium… making it thin & light while being stronger than a thicker SS design.
Not entirely sure but think they went single wall to keep its slim profile and light, maybe they’ll add another soon that has double wall. Definitely want to get this for some whiskey just plain awesome design.
Most of Yeti's beverage items are doubled walled. A double-walled cup keeps beverages hot or cold longer because it uses an air gap between the outer and inner wall and the heat can only travel through the captured air.
It definitely would be heavier and bulkier but I feel that is an aspect of the Yeti brand. I personally would sacrifice weight for a tougher more versatile item.
I think a lot of people agree with you. It is cool that Yeti continues to explore new products. I’m pumped to see what else they may have coming down the pipeline. I’m personally hoping to see a V2 of the duffel bag.
Many people share your view on that! I wish it were priced at 25-30, but I imagine limited R&D and limited runs play a big role in the cost. Prices in Canada are quite hectic for everything; they go for 65 here.
There are a large number of people who like their spirited drinks cold. I’ve been told for some it goes down much smoother. I know traditional flasks are single walled but I thought with Yeti being known to over engineer their products that it wasn’t out of pocket to suggest. It would have made their product different from the others on the market.
😂😂 yeah $50 … complete joke … that’s not even the size of a true flask that’s more of a shot glass That’s flat flat with a lid what a complete rip off a

Thanks for the review video! When you put it in your pocket make sure the curve fits your body! 🍻

As someone who drinks and golfs. The single walled flask seems nice because I can just throw it in my yeti cooler with some beers and it’ll get cold
That’s a really good point. I’ll have to try that out.
I like the metal on metal noise - very classic to a flask
yeah me too, i feel like that sound is a requirement for a flask haha
That's a good point! The metal on metal noise really does add a classic touch to a flask.
Double walled is for cold stuff though. Personally, I don’t know anyone that has cold spirits in a flask.
Also, you take lid off for a swig, then put it back on. 🤷🏼♂️
really good informative review, i have no use for a flask but it looks so clean i might just get one lol
The Flask was a very limited release. If your a collector it's definetly going to be a sought after item.

Thank you 🙏🏻. That’s so true. They’ve got me as well. One time in particular was the Pre Dawn Collection. Now it’s been added as a core colour.

That totally makes sense. The design is slick looking and it does feel great in the hand. Hopefully Yeti gets them in stock soon!
Its only $50 🤷♀️ of course its worth it 😊 I’m getting a white one!
What do you mean by double wall?
Most of Yeti's beverage items are doubled walled. A double-walled cup keeps beverages hot or cold longer because it uses an air gap between the outer and inner wall and the heat can only travel through the captured air.
Double walled would be so big and bulky.

I like the snow peak flask. You should do a comparison video!
First time hearing about it. It looks nice! I'm going to look more into it and I'll see what I can do. I appreciate the idea.
Meh. Nop! I am HUGE Yeti fan, I already have mostly of the Yeti items, but this one is missing a lot of important details. I think they can improve it

That's DoPE!!!!
This product should have been reviewed by someone who knows how to use a flask and is familiar with flasks.
@@RickfromLafayette Please make a review on the flask so you can show us an alternative perspective.
If this thing didn't have the Yeti name in it, it would cost 10 dollars.

who is putting cold drinks in a flask? double walled makes no sense

Looks like somw cheap ass flask that they just laser etched their logo onto. No way is it worth whatever yeti is charging
I think a lot of people agree with you.
I think it's interesting to see Yeti explore items outside what they're known for.
😂😂 yeah $50 … complete joke … that’s not even the size of a true flask that’s more of a shot glass That’s flat flat with a lid what a complete rip off a
Hey, it could be worse. In Canada they’re $65 + tax😬.
How much was this?
It’s not on the site
50usd. Rumours are another batch is coming soon.
