I just heard of the saran wrap ball. Did not know it was around this long. watched your video while I made one for my daughter. She won’t be home for the holidays. thought it would be nice for her to unwrap. LOL
I just heard of this saran wrap ball gift game today! And now I'm in charge of making one for our teacher staff Christmas party! I love that you show in detail at the beginning the items that you got! Gave me some good ideas! I live overseas, so I can't get most of those specifically, but I can try to capture the ideas! :)
We did one but it was all adults so we did old cartoon stickers( cave man, marvin martian etc) mico pork rinds, candy, carmex, fishing tackle, small liquor bottles, sample sauces, socks, glow sticks, pens, car coasters, loose money, gift cards, chap sticks, can sardines, goody things, lighters, pocket knives, advil n more. They are fun. We used a light up tree hat, light up necklace, red oven mits that said ROLL IT, Green dice
That's "Pass the Parcel" over here ☺ we use wrapping paper for the middle gift then add something in each layer then wrap it up in paper so it ends up like a big parcel. Someone takes charge of the music and stands with their back to the group so they can't see where the parcel lands when the music stops🤗 xx
Tammy, I did this with my kids and grands last year. They rolled two dice and whoever rolled doubles first, got the first chance at unwrapping, I’ll call them player 1. The person to their right is player 2. Player 1 (unwrapper) has to wear oven mitts to unwrap while player 2 is rolling the pair of dice. Once they get doubles, the game rotates to the right, player 2 is now the un-wrapper while wearing the oven mitts while the player to their right attempts to roll doubles! It is hilarious! I also had some funny things to wear, like a Santa hat and an elf hat, flashing necklaces. I hope you all have as much fun as we did! The most coveted items.... lottery tickets!
If you don't cut pieces then o e person may get to much in a turn an the game will end fast. You want to do cuts so they have to find to get prize. That's the fun part.
Oh my gosh Tammy ... I want to play, I think if I can get out of the house for a few minutes safely I will make one for our Christmas Day fun as well, my daughter and her boyfriend are heading over with masks on so we can enjoy a meal together and exchange gifts, but I don't think one game of this would be too bad. Now to find all the cute little goodies too, thanks for sharing this, I can't wait.
