We don't think all Korean people want to see too ugly clothes, black-spotted-camouflaged face (Poor Hungbu Role), on the stage any longer. Korean classical traditional drama (Kukak) should be upgraded in many respect, get rid of biased concept to the Korean old drama. Korea is rich nowadays, and Korean people should develop more Yangban stories and aristocratic dramas instead of too poor dramas. Hyngbujon is a very educational story but it would be much better without too ugly make-up and ugly clothes.
Wow. I have never met the person who things like you. I mean I'm not appreciating you .however to ask you then what method should be used for the actors to express their circumstances which reveals he is poor without painting their faces or poor looking clothes? Of course we can explain it with the words however that will loosen the audience's tension and concentration also it will reduce the immersion. And Essentially, you dont want to see? Dont watch it and be free. Secondly, in your opinion (I don't know even where you live but), same as kukak, musicals should be changed and developed tooo. Why?like as you said, i don't either want to see the expressing poor paintings or poor clothes. So, musicals should be changed too. Even 'cats' their cat paintings are so weird that i cant even only think that " ow.. that should be chandged!"
