I really like unedited process ! It is so informational and feels like a real insight. Please feel free to keep it this way, even for longer artworks !
This was incredibly educational for me. The foundation of the pose/composition, and the quick experimentation with the shadow shapes to build off of are two techniques I am going to put into practice with my own work.
Really impressive watching in full time your speed is kind of insane, question though, how did you separated your clippings like the hair and shirt from the first skin layer without making it go out of the clipping area? I have been looking for how to do that forever.
THIS IS CANDY FOR MY EYES! thank you for putting the full process!!!! I'm going ot be studying this for a longggg amount of time!!!! thank you again!!!!
Thank you for making video like this, it's really inspiring and help me figure out how many things it takes to make an beautiful artwork. Respect your works and your talent!
OHH YEAHH!! What a treat! Personally, I really prefer realtime Footage than Speedpaint, it makes me feel the pacing of the artwork and somehow makes me more motivated. Thank you for the Blessing
Nice! I was planning on just chilling and watching some real time drawing while I take a break. What better way than to spend it, watching one of my new fav digital artist. Keep up the good work buddy!
Great work dao le, your drawing really inspiring me to make lineless art, and i hope you to make more video like this if you can Sorry if my english is bad
I just did exactly the same thing, after finishing the show picked up my brush and my acrylics and painted away a little jinx fanart 😊 Yours came out incredible and watching it in real time is even crazier!
HENLO TO THE PHOTOSHOP EXPERT THERE, CAN YOU HELP ME WHAT COMMAND OR HOW/WHAT DAO LE DID IN THE CLIP 15:22 - 15:28 , THE WAY SHE COPIES THE SHAPE OF THE BASE LAYER AND APPLIES IT TO THE CLIPPED LAYERS? THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO ANSWER THIS QUESTION :>>>
It's really impressive that you are able to do all of this in only one hour. I'd probably spent 1 hour just to make the sketch, base and fundamental shadows lol
I love you so much Dao. You did so many things with JUST the lasso tool. Especially the shadows. It really showed me that if you understand the fundamentals of art you can use whatever you want to paint and it'll still look good. I would switch back and forth from PS to clip studio because i wanted to see if one would make me draw better than the other. But no, it's all about mastering the fundamentals!
Wtf is this shit? One hour? HOW!? Are you even human or a god? This is prolly the most impressive thing ive ever seen in artworld. One hour for this is INSANE!!!!!!!!!!! Phenomenal.
ah, yes, another portion of depression from envy and self-hate, i would never be able draw like that, and even if were able, i would spent dozens hours on art like that. why i'm ever living...
i really love so much your content, its a great inspiration for my drawings, can you pls do more videos like this, showing the first hours of a drawn in real time? this really help me
This is really impressive! I love the Arcane series so far as well! I also did fanart of Jinx on my channel haha! I think the scene were she gets left by Vi (in the last episode that shes a kid in) Would be very cool in your art style! Again, awesome work!
Looks realy good! I wonder which brush sets do you recommend? I'm not very experienced in digital painting. I am looking for a brush set where I can feel the Arcane series effect

Select the first skin area. invert the selection and delete all outside of the other layers
