Rusty was one of a kind. Funny, polite and easy on the ears. Miss him greatly.

@@MichaelSmith-ex4jd do you remember if Rusty had a full show from the Lone Star CC music hour? We have the HD clip of him doing Cheryl doreen but nothing else that has been edited to HD. Apparently they taped him over 2 nights.

@@VintageWillie Only one I recall was the Opry House show in Corpus where they did the Lone Star beer jingle. Lone Star Beer only did a handful of those Cross Country specials but for sure Rusty did one.

@@MichaelSmith-ex4jd so you 100% remember a full long hour show of Rusty Wier in Corpus Christi similar to the Larry Hosford one I uploaded a few weeks back?

@@VintageWillie yes I do. Again, it’s when he first sang the LS Beer jingle. If memory serves they did WN, JJW, Hosford, Doug Kershaw, BWS, Patti Smith, maybe David Allen Coe too. They didn’t do many, mostly the biggies of the day.

Rusty was at his pinnacle here. I actually saw him in Cleveland as he mentioned. 75 was Austin's pinnacle too IMO.
