Typhon is up with the Mojave in durability for sure. You'll be surprised that the stock system feels overpowered in it. I find myself running 4s normally with mine.
I got mine yesterday. Love it. My only gripe about it is that the front end is open, meaning if you land a jump wrong, you will damage the shocks and arms. I picked up a RPM bumper and skid plate for it, and that fixed that issue nicely
@TexasBasherRC it's RPM part RPM81812, only costs 20 bucks, but will save a load of money instead of busting shock towers. I've hit mine landing jumps wrong and the bumper takes it like a champ, definitely a good buy!
They're good if u can keep your finger off Full throttle, but if you start drifting it around and spinning the tires, it wears the tread off pretty fast.

I’m debating between Typhon BLX and TLR. Roughly $350-$400 difference between the two. Not likely going to get it on a track as there aren’t any near me mainly parks. Is that worth it or get Typhon 6s or maybe get the Kraton 6s instead?
I wasn’t aware they were shipping these with 160A Spectrum Firma? My recently purchased v5 6s Typh is just the 150A ESC? 160A with same 2050kv on this would make it ready for 8s out the box?

I think im running a 6000 100c zee battery. I have 2 of them, they're my bashing batteries im sure if i got a more expensive higher quality battery it could be faster but im happy where its at. Its almost uncontrollable sometimes when bashing.

Yea i agree with that. I broke a shock mount recently jumping on my ramp. I need to get me one of those rpm bumpers

Thinking about this TLR myself. Glad you posted the video. Fairly new to the hobby and wondering if this TLR can fit and use 2 3s batteries?

@@we4fm175 no 2 3s will not fit they are too tall. I had to get a 4s and single 6s That's what the hobby guy told me it ends up hitting the body

What size 6s did you use bc I have same car with 6s 6800 120c and it does 68mph
