You are so knowledgeable and personable which is impressive in itself. In addition to that sounds as though you price your items quite reasonably. As a bonus, you promptly answer questions and even respond to viewer comments. You are also here, there and everywhere! Amazing 👏 Thank you
I remember those S&H Green stamps. My granny used to save them to get all the Xmas gifts so much fun. The clowns are great I went to the circus every year just to get those balloon animals lol. I guess we all knew they were not reading them for the articles lol but we will let them think so. lol Thanks for sharing and you have a great day and safe travels
My new FAV hobby! Watch videos live with George and chat with everyone! You are so kind to take this time for those of us who appreciate you… thanks again!
In my opinion the lamp with the exposed Phillips head screws was interesting in design but mediocre in construction. The screws could have been set below the wood surface and concealed with matching wood grain plugs. Also the dealer who displayed the orange pitcher with the blue glasses knew about complimentary colors . On the 6 color colorwheel Blue compliments Orange, Red compliments Green, and Violet compliments Yellow. That dealer was likely a designer or artist as well. Take care!
My thrifter mother was recently hospitalized and has been stuck inside. Your channel has been a bright point in her day. We love you and your amazing videos. Would love to see you in Oklahoma!! Thank you for all that you do and for sharing your knowledge ❤
Hello George...I collect these globes (very inexpensively) and turn them into mobiles. I'm an upcycle artist from Albuquerque New Mexico...where you once visited(and around the corner from my home) the Antique Specialty Mall not too long ago. Have a great day. Kenny
Hi, Kenny! I really liked that mall, and turning globes into mobiles sounds like a lot of fun. There's plenty of globes from the 1960s-70s on to use that are not expensive collectibles, and I bet the results are cool!
Thank you George! My husband George and I really enjoy your videos, Especially when you are in a local Antique/Vintage Shops of your traveling. I must tell you: Some of the vintage pieces you show and share with us from the Seventies brings many memories of different stages of our life ; From when I arrived in America from Italy and met ,every our first car as you showed the cup with a Chevy Monte Carlo. Thank you! Great Video as always Arrivederci!
Loved my Nancy Drew books growing up, born mid fifties. Didn't realize most were published so far back, just looked it up. Love the MCM looking spice jars towards the beginning of the video.
Frame 26:54 + You sure would chase Misty away with all those clowns, even though they are cute. That sad looking one reminds me of Red Skelton. There were a lot of clown images that looked like his style.
Oh boy..got up to stretch out some stiff/sore as it can happen and i may be up 45 min...,lol...had a dear family friend that used the old washing machine every week for her family all day Monday after her across the country move in the 70's....looking back to that time and gas crisis and expenses out of whack then too..that was a courageous time of moving way west with a big family and they used what their new "old neat home" had..another fabulous one, thank you George.
Thank you for reminding us all that war is NOT romantic or beautiful but something we should attempt to avoid at all costs….. I enjoy learning from you!
Have been binge watching your videos, enjoying your observations, waiting to see things I have in your searches to see if my stuff are worth anything…. 🎉
I absolutely love the lampshade of slides idea! Artistic genius that I'm going to try (try is obviously the operative word here 😄) to replicate; I have a lot of family slides that are just sitting unwanted. Seriously good shop today George; incredible treasures and a wonderful education. Thank you.😊
I've been binging your videos all weekend! I must say, I thought someone HAD to be slipping you a list of store items, so you could research ahead of time 😂 You are just so knowledgeable about so many periods and styles, it's truly incredible! I've learned so much in just 3 days. ❤
That cable car up the mountain is so like the one, but newer, that is in Wellington NZ. I have ridden it many times and spent many happy hours in the botanical gardens at the top with its great views over the city and the harbour.
Hi George-thanks for the id on the Camark planter. I own one in turquoise & have always wondered who manufactured it. Great video, as always….safe travels!
I know I have said how much I enjoy your videos, but today's was excellent. Maybe it had to do with Dirty Jane's antiques. Prices for everyone's budget, really interesting displays. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of antiques. Peace hope and love
This was very fun George! Great to see. Have been getting a little discouraged competing with new and resurfaced. Little different price piont and condition. Thanks again
Good evening, George! I have a complete set of the Nancy Drew books. Those Rings decanters would've likely had to come home with me. I liked those. That rosewood, marble-topped table was a beauty! It would be beautiful in the centre of a large room with an epergne on it. Those stained glass windows were fantastic! Those would be fantastic to build a shadow/light box to attach to the backs of them, so they could be used as wall hangings with light behind them. I have a few items from Queen Victoria's Silver Jubilee. I could really imagine myself having that English oak book case...if I had somewhere to put it. The old Coca~Cola clock was nice. I just got three old clocks out of the shop today. One of them is an 1877 carriage clock. Loved that $155.00 vase! I'm not too big into vases, but that one was super-nice! There was what looked like a cast iron fountain, with a lion's head on it, that caught my eye. I have a globe bank exactly like the one with the airlines' logos on it. Dirty Jane's is a fantastic shop! It isn't all that far from me, either. Thanks for the take-along!!!
Hello! I have a friend who sells Nancy Drew at shows, she says they still are memorable to most generations. The rosewood table! A lot of wow factor in that, and in the whole store. I was so excited to get the two scenic windows, one will go on eBay in my video this month. The English oak is really so lofty and warm feeling, I could have a den furnished in it to hold my collectors' references. I feel like the Coke clock was worth restoring the lettering, it can be done properly and would have brought out its most outstanding feature. I have several old clocks going to the shop! If you get a chance to go up there, I recommend that place, you would definitely have fun and find something you like.
You are so knowledgeable about so many things. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. I've learned so much from you. Despite all your knowledge, a gentle correction: that isn't a streetcar in the San Francisco picture. It's a cable car!
So glad you visited Chattanooga, as this is where I grew up. The town has great antiques, especially if you go to Lookout Mountain and come across a yard sale!
Your videos are so cool; Because you know the pieces you talk about & I really see your joy when you find something you haven't found before. My favorite tonight was the small dark blue class top table! Thanks for another great video!
It was so nice to see Dirty Jane's. I agree that stores that stay true to antique and vintage are becoming harder to find. All the "new" stuff really bothered me. I don't patron those places. Per usual, I have learned many things in your videos.
Hey there, really enjoying your fact-filled videos! Wondering if you ever make it north of the border? I have a booth in the Inglewood Antique Market, just north of Toronto and I think you would find much to appreciate there! Thanks again for all you do! ☮
Hi George! I love Chattanooga! We would travel through there when going from N Alabama to NC. I loved seeing you on the incline❤️ It’s so beautiful up there🥰 Do you ever get to NC? Safe Travels to you❤️
I want the Gemini so bad! I got the Aries after YOU sold me the Pisces. I tried to get the Gemini but they person selling it wanted $85 for a yucky yellow color. I wish you would have bought it. My family is Pisces, Aries and 2 Gemini. Next time you see it buy it and I’ll buy it from you!
Loved the atmosphere at Dirty Janes! Well put together displays 🏆 I had so much fun with my window displays at my flower shop. Spending time on that brought in money and new customers ❤️🐩
Oh yes! Another place I have to visit. I love that bamboo furniture set! So fun to see the way the store is decorated. As you said, I love that it is all truly old. Thanks George! BTW there's an antique & vintage show in Bristol next month. Will you be there?
If u want a great ride two hrs from here is the smokey mts which u can go to Cherokee TN all Indian reservations u would find the best unique antique along with the real feathers indians dancing on the street tee pees and the beautiful oocoee drive up there which is the river and waterfalls are all the way on your drive and where the Olympics were for the canoe
Thank you for your reverence to those who died in the civil war to abolish slavery. I hope the younger generations learn and never forget.
I am glad you appreciate this too! It was a horrible time for everyone on both sides, but everyone deserves to be free
You are so knowledgeable and personable which is impressive in itself. In addition to that sounds as though you price your items quite reasonably. As a bonus, you promptly answer questions and even respond to viewer comments. You are also here, there and everywhere! Amazing 👏 Thank you

I really enjoy these videos, improves my knowledge, especially what’s selling well now. Thanks!

TO TELL TRUTH I DO NOT ALWAYS HAVE TIME TO WATCH .. BUT WILLLLL EVENTUALLY .. BUT I STOP TO PUT THUMBS UP.. CAUSE I KNOW IT WILL BE GOOD... ❤😂
Thank you! I worked hard on this one, I think you’ll enjoy
The sheer amount of knowledge in your head AND your ability to recall it astounds me every time. A delight to watch and learn from you, George! ☺️
It blows my mind! At first, I thought he had to be cheating and getting a list of items ahead of time and looking them up before he goes in 😂
Thanks again!
Wonderful shop, George, thank you for taking us along. That green couch!♥

Yes! That publisher figured out really that girls wanted heroines
What a wonderful shop. Loved walking through and learning so much from you. Tank you, George.
My pleasure
Definitely learning as we go.
Always love stained glass.

My neighbors in Washington state at that time insisted on using a winter washer and hanging laundry to dry on their porch!
