Half these 5.0 sound like fucking jets. There is one in my town that has axel back headers and a tune and you could here it from blocks away and when you in person it’s crazy loud.

My grandparents have an '04 V6 Mustang and I think it sounds decent and it's darn cool to drive but I do wish they went for the 4.6 V8 because I feel the V8 is the defining characteristic of any Mustang. They've never crashed it either on the long run from Minnesota to their winter home in Arizona. It's only done a little over 61,000 miles though.

Honestly if the ecoboost had a deeper tone and rumble like the Subaru’s with UEL headers, it wouldn’t be a bad choice and the sound would still suit the car...not a fan of the buzz saw/ 2 rotor type of sound it has

I’ve heard some really nice sounding V6 mustangs but I’ve yet to hear an eco boost that sounds good.

@@rau4329 true lol I got a rental ecoboost 10 speed while my 5.0 was at the dealer and it sounds pretty good completely stock. The sound through the speakers is kinda cheesy when it’s in drag mode but it has a really cool sound to it. If I was an ecoboost owner, I would leave the exhaust 100% stock. Maybe just a downpipe but leave the factory resonator and mufflers and focus on cosmetics. The factory resonator only limits the car by like 2-3hp including the mufflers, so it’s not worth ruining the exhaust.

Pet Dont know about rest of EU but here in Sweden, like 90% are GTs. Ford stopped bringing ecoboost 2018 because it barely sold, only GTs now

Just traded in my EcoBoost Mustang for a GT 2023 California Special and Oxford White. Any young buck is reading this I recommend them to go with a 4-cylinder twin-turbo first plenty of power you get 345 horsepower learn to drive the car and then upgrade to a GT. That's what I did and I wouldn't have done it any other way.😎

0:19 it's a V6 but I'll give him credit, he got the rear to kick out and didn't wreck it, as someone who had a V6 Charger that's the best part about the V6 cars, you just floor it and it's the perfect amount of power to hold a powerslide, no throttle control needed, that being said I'm too scared of wrecking my GT to try the same thing with throttle control
Nice to see Europeans enjoying our cars as much as we do theirs. Good tip for getting that classic hollow sound from your Coyote 5.0: long tube headers (Kooks, AR's, whatever), x pipe (with no cats!), 3 inch exhaust, keep the resonators in, and cap it off (this is important) with a regular Flowmaster 40 series, NOT a Roush! Unless you want to sound like a fake douchebag, then go ahead and settle for a Corsa catback.
Last thing, if you're going for epic sound, for fuck sakes avoid forced induction and get yourself a badass Manifold (Cobra Jet preferred).
Follow these instructions and your Coyote Mustang WILL sound authentic badass.

I had a 67 mustang 351 Cleveland 3 speed manual open rear the car was brutal. White smoke and straight runs. And not all this tech. Always loved mustangs.

I have the opportunity to either buy a 69 fastback (Not boss) or a 2017 GT. My gut says the 69 for resale and collectability but my mind says the 2017 for drivability and comfort and less money is thrown at it just to keep it on the road. So more money for mods.
Robert Days if it’s for daily/needed for reliability or gonna be driven more often get the 17. I love my 2017 5.0 and can’t resist driving it almost everyday to work or the store or wherever. In the future I’d love a 69 or 68 fastback as a project car however
@@johnnycakees That's where I'm at. If I get the 69 there is stuff needed done to it and then if I start I may as well strip it back and do it all properly. But then a 17 I can buy and add to it as I go just minor to start with. Both about the same price. Also I drove my cousins 68 and it just drove like an old car whereas a 2017 model has all the comforts. I know I will be really old or dead before it becomes a classic but then again I could also be dead before finishing a project lol.
