Tyson I've watched your channel for yrs.I'm getting rid of some tractors. One of them is a 930 case comfort king. All its done is pull a haybine for yrs. Thought maybe some one would need a good tractor. Just thought I'd mention it to you.
Hi Tyson. I bought a John Deere 445 and didn't realize it was using a lot of oil. My rings were shot. I think somebody didn't have the air filter on right as one of the fasteners was broken. I ended up getting they cylinders measured and the cylinders were out of spec so I got it bored out at a cycle shop 0.5mm and honed and put in new oversized pistons and rings. I also replaced the front plain bearing and of course all new seals, gaskets, and also the governor. It runs great now with lots of power and doesn't use any oil. My only complaint is it uses a lot more fuel than our Kubota with a 3 cylinder diesel. I use the 445 for snow blowing as well as mowing. I enjoy it very much for snow blowing as the gas engine is easy to start. It takes 1 hour to pull the engine so don't be scared about that. I also printed out a shop manual that helped me with rebuilding the engine. I had never done anything like that before and didn't find it too bad. Just had to be patient and take my time. I am from North of Saskatoon and have relatives in Fairview AB and Fort St. John BC.
Nice having some grass to cut this year. Got 2.9” out of this last blast. Was at Donnelly to drop off a cross auger out of my haybine to get fixed. Looked like they had enough rain without this last blast from peace river down to there.
I have one Similar to that JD Model 512 Still works as it should. Pull it with a NH TC45 works great. On to the mower wonder if Valve seat came loose or valve guide bad, definitely worth pulling apart. 👍🏻
My uncle Wesley had the same mower before he passed away I used it to mow our yards the engine blew three different Times over the years John deer here in northwest Missouri charged him over a thousand dollars each time to rebuild it the value covers and oil fill cap will become bridle and crack over time
G day Tyson Boy that Farmall looks really nice. U must be happy driving all these red tractors Boy it is suppose be 90's this week That will be hard on my breathing. Thanks for now
@@Northern_Farmer Frost warning here in Edmonton Area tonight. Seeing snow down west of Calgary. Snow around Hinton too apparently. Winter just needs to go!!!
Thank You Sir.good job on the blades.grass looks like cut with a razor.saves on the horses also.gld you are getting rain.we had some early but looking like 22-23 again.last storm looked like 4th July but barely wet the deck.the mower the cylinder with no compression if you can see the cylinder walls and are good I'd overhaul if big if someone good with small engines was close.keep up the good work.thanks for the good videos.
If you put red implements behind green tractors you really need to be careful. They're not intended to have to handle all that power. The way you do it with green implements behind red tractors it's safer. Waaaaay less power on those red ones teehee.
Even them cheaper borescopes that are out there you can pop a spark plug and server the situation. Usually can see bad valves and poor cyclone conditions
we have a z445 zero turn that had a dead kawasaki 25hp. Got a 25hp briggs from princess auto and it dropped right in. surprised how similar it was to the kawi. Allthough it was an air cooled vert shaft.
If you can make the time I’d say hone and new rings. Even if you could check with bore scope it would still have to come apart. You can always change coarse and do engine replacement if tear down shows it’s not feasible for rebuild. Just my thoughts.
Why do you like to be mean to be on my TH-cam channel? Are you this way to everyone? No 2 people are created equal. Are you just joking around? Or criticism. Please answer in a video
Looks good Tyson, hope you got the heat you were expecting. Big game tomorrow. Take care
And by the way I enjoy your videos. You guys are very down to earth and practical!
Thanks

Yea I was in pr on Friday and you coikd see some yellow happening in the low spots
Good stuff
Nice tractor. Mine has an everything attachments mini plow on it I plowed a garden yesterday
Nice 👍
On the 445, make a catch can out of a one litre oil can, zip tie it to the air snorkel, one line in, one out down to the front axle.

Seems they last around 1000 hrs or so
Butler bins were not built heavy enough. Don’t know if I’ve ever seen one that hasn’t buckled 😖
That’s how my bush hogg goes to the pto still turns when it’s off
G day Tyson Boy that Farmall looks really nice.

Thanks for now
It's cold here...next week supposed to finally warm up

It's been raining on and off for 2 weeks
I got the same brush cutter on my DX33
Good match!

That's exactly the reason I do it haha
Let those bawling cows out on all that green grass....They will fertilize it also
👍👍
Go Oilers!!!!!!
All good!
Not cold in south-western Ontario! 105 and 45% humidity today!
Yea cold in the west this year
Even them cheaper borescopes that are out there you can pop a spark plug and server the situation. Usually can see bad valves and poor cyclone conditions
Yea I wish I had one
@@Northern_Farmer I haven't looked, but it could be worth it. I'm sure you would use it for other things.
How do you like that farmall 35?
Love it
Jd 509 bushhog.. i have one just like it
Yes 509!!!
we have a z445 zero turn that had a dead kawasaki 25hp. Got a 25hp briggs from princess auto and it dropped right in. surprised how similar it was to the kawi. Allthough it was an air cooled vert shaft.
Yea this one is liquid cooled
Harbor freight station for the motor on a John Deere mower
We don't have a harbor freight
The shaft in that gearbox cost 600.00 - 800.00 when it brakes
Better change the oil in it
You would be surprised how many issues would arise from the valves not set properly....that's your cheapest way to eliminate what could be wrong
Thanks..I'll give it a try

That's what I was thinking to
Poor Shaun having to put up with your help.....
That's what he's there for lol
@Northern_Farmer oh I thought it was so you could hug him
That is a nice tractor running the brush mower. But you need to do something about the seat. lol
Lol yea the case seats all Crack up
Pull the head off and see what is going on maybe a valve or valve seat you may get lucky I have a 455 it’s been a good mower it has 1800 hours
Yea wish it was the diesel in it
Do you know why john deere's are green?.....so they can hide in the grass when the big red ones go buy.....hahaha
Haha

Where was I mean to you?
Great work but please fix the file dimensions, its like watching thru a mail slot in a door.
What do you mean? You mean for viewing dimensions?
Looks like the blade is bent
It's supposed to be
Time to cut gras Tyson .
It's growing good in the cool wet weather
Every farmer in the world is better and smarter than you .
Thanks
That is obviously not true. The guy must be desperate for attention.
Tyson is still smarter than you!! @waynek921
My word at times people are dead from the neck up
