Great content here, thank you. I am looking at getting a w202 with the turbo OM605. I see you mention up to 400hp is fine on the EDC pump? I was thinking of making it mechanical, but if its not needed then fine, but, how would one do the mapping on it?
You can map it but you will need an aftermarket ECU such as the DSL1. Also you will need an upgraded EDC pump as stock pump won't make 400hp. I recommend Anchev Diesel who builds pumps for Dieselmeken, very good service and top shelf quality
I would mention how the cooling line addition for the water cooled turbo should be added regardless of weather it is used on the turbo or not just foor cooling the rear cylinders. Great info overall though. Did you go over the prechamber hole and carefully sand/smooth the edge to help prevent any imperfections that could start a crack? Ive never heard of this mod but it makes sense. Also what is an "A" cam? I know a 617a is a turbo from the factory. Is that the same for the 606?

Mate you can’t Map OM606-OM605 only you can getting a Mechanical diesel pump high quality from DieselPumpUk he’s the Specialist on those pumps
