Well,Insomnia really messed my life up, starting from how I perform at home and at work 😢. But I thank God because my insomnia is gone permanently now 😊, and my general health has improved tremendously. I can't forget to give credits to #doctorunugboje on TH-cam . Doctorunugboje healed me completely with his powerful natural herbal medication 🥰..,,

It is always important to identify the cause, rather than alliviating the symptoms :)

Medication, and exercise are the only things that work for me. I tried CBTI, but it didn't work for me. But, I've heard of it working for others.

@@ericgarcia2268 Remeron or Seroquel. Both need to be prescribed by a doctor because they are psychiatric medications that are used off label. Meaning they are used for other uses than what they are originally designed for.

It used to take me 1.5-2 hours to fall asleep every night, and I usually woke up twice a night. Sleep restriction therapy and stimulus control was like magic for my sleep onset and maintenance problems, precisely because it reestablished that connection between the bed and sleep - whereas previously, I never left the bed if I couldn't sleep, and sometimes I used my phone in bed too. So everything got muddled up. Since the therapy, it takes me less than ten minutes to sleep once I go to bed, and I sleep through the night.

FYI, these tips are mostly, except CBT, worthless for Chronic Insomnia. Think years upon years of not sleeping a WINK the entire night, missing work 20-30 times a year because you are too exhausted to work another day sleepless, or you CRASH hard after 4-6 days with ZERO or less than 2 hours a night. Most of y'all, thankfully, have not even met the real insomnia monster. It eats entire lives.

Insomnia suddenly hit me before 4 years, most properly because of antidepressant that I start taking after being prescribed to. only way to feel sleepy or to fall a sleep at night is sleep medications. I've tried normal CBT but it didn't help.

Wow I can relate a lot here - I often end up staying awake through 5-6 am the following day. Setting an alarm for 9-10 am to get about 3-4 hours of sleep and then staying awake until bedtime can help reset your sleep schedule. Hope you're able to sleep well soon!

There are many home remedies that you could try, without spending much. Chamomile tea for example is very affordable, so drink a strong cup before bedtime. Exercise daily preferably in the morning, and avoid big meals at night. Hope this helps!

One possibility that you may wake up during the night may be the fact that your bowels, especially the large intestine, will be overcrowded with waste and often this one will be found as very unpleasant. In this case it will be the best to take 1 tablespoon (= 15 ml) castor oil - 1 to 2 hours later the bowel movement will begin and you will be able to continue your sleep.
