The Silverado nameplate was first used in 1975 on the Chevy pickup line, supplanting Cheyenne/Cheyenne Super as the top trim level. This continued through the square body trucks and the GMT 400/OBS trucks that followed. Then when the GMT 800/ NBS trucks came out in 1999, they were all Silverados, just as their GMC brethren were all Sierras.
Missed three, one of which I couldn't see enough of (the grille is usually my giveaway.) Interesting tidbit.. the first Datsun pickup, when presented to the Emperor of Japan, failed to start.
The Silverado was NOT 1st gen. Sadly I missed a few. I'm in south Texas and many of the lil Cissy trucks have never seen south Texas terrain iv never been out of south Texas except 4 Wyoming vacations iv never heard of many of them or even seen them or even seen them in auto mags
WISH THEY MADE 194X-2003 TITAN GENERATIONS OR AT LEAST A PREDECESSOR NAMEPLATE BUT THE VERY CLOSEST ENOUGH YET IS THE UG780 IF ONLY THERE WERE PICKUP VERSIONS...😪I COULDN'T FIND ANY PICS OF ONE EVEN AFTERMARKET OR 3D MODEL RENDERS
I got them all, even the oldest ones, but I've been told I'm "truck OBS-essed".
Got all correct, but that blue Silverado damn sure ain't 1st gen.
Yes it is
Silverado was a trim package, then became its own model.

All vehicle quizzes would be preferable with the year models posted with the answer choices.

Actually it's a first generation F100
@@HotWheelsBurban I believe the f100 series started in 57.
@@danesderelicts nope , the F100s started in 1953 . The '57s would have been the first of the 2nd generation F100s .
It's a 1953 Ford F100 cuz I got one
