Mbappe supposedly did it in a training session NOT in a game, and when any of the Association Football players are clocked, the ball s NOT at their feet. They are not actively dribbling when they reach their top speeds. They kick the ball hard and run after it. At that time their speed is measured. They are also measured running free for a pass or on defense chasing the play. The NFL players, however, ARE wearing 8-13 pounds of extra and restrictive gear. That actively slows them down. Hills top speed out of gear is slightly over 25mph which is slightly over 40kph. This was during his world class 10.19 100m dash. There are no pro Association Football players who have EVER run under 10.39 100m. Without any handicaps Hill smashes Mbappe.
Running lanes are different it’s easier to catch upto mbappe coz he’s running towards the center but the other guys just have to make it to the end. Also the defender on mbappe are very persistent compared to the other guy. As soon as he breaks the line the nfl guys kinda give up.
Most of this video was Mbappé running with the ball on his feet and still beating the defender. Showing that he’s a lot faster than all the players if they can’t keep up with him with the ball on his feet. Also tyreek runs with the ball on his hand. Which I think we can all agree it’s much easier to run with a ball on your hand than your feet. Mbappé is also running 90+ mins with one break and tyreek goes max 15 mins without a break.
I reckon his elbow goes like that because he trained himself to shoot without taking an extra step, so that he can shoot from a natural sprinting motion. If you see it does look like he goes up a gear before he shoots, that's why his arms are flailing asymmetrical, to shift his weight to his shooting leg. I'm just speculating but that's my guess.
Soccer speed is different to track speed in terms of soccer mbappe is Usain Bolt on the field. He probably runs around 10.2-10.3 100 m and the speed he has with the ball is next level
mbappe will run a 10.6 or 10.7. He is not faster than the fastest nfl players or should I say the fastest football players are not faster than the fastest nfl players. It is not that close either and the nfl guys are way bigger.
@@bobjeff1243 nfl players obviously faster cause they dont train to run 90 mins. But man that 11.2 its just absolutely made up number. You gotta also remember other soccer players can be fast too, they’re keeping up cause they’re also fast. But they’re also running without a ball vs Mbappe r with a ball. Also you can’t be running at your top speed at all times during soccer because you have to change speed to beat opponents dawg
@@bobjeff1243 carrying a ball in your hands is 100 times easier than controlling an actual football with your feet while running. There’s no way ur trying to argue that carrying the ball makes u just as slow as when u have it at your feet. I don’t care about hand motion, it’s still much easier.
@@bobjeff1243 it doesn’t matter, the fact that you think that should considered when the other is literally controlling a ball with their feet is just silly.
He’s fast for his type of sport vs the other sports. Also he’s running looking forward and downward on the ball vs Tyreek he looks up once to catch the ball and then start running looking forward the rest of the sprint.
None of them are comparable to olympic sprinters , but I think a race between Tyreek and Mbappe would be very close . The 10 pounds of padding Tyreek wears are less of an issue than Mbappe doing some of these sprints after playing for 70+ minutes, running with the ball AT HIS FEET
The thing is in football u don’t have a time out any other play it’s just non stop moving around n his pace is still unbelievable even if he’s been on the pitch for a long time (there’s only half time) a full football match is 90 minute but extra can be added if time is lost do to an injury or when a player is wasting time
While Mbappe is fast, these soccer fans have a false perception of his speed. The players chasing him down look like they are running a 5 flat. This is making him look faster than he is. In REAL football 🏈, the slow players are all running faster than that. And we still have guys that are insanely fast comparatively like Tyreek hill, Bo Jackson, John Ross, etc…
LOL! First of all Soccer is short for Association Football and was called football long before American football was invented. The mid part of you comment is true. Ngl, it looked like through the video that he just cared about the looks and beauty of his running form, I won't hate on it, but man, if he's fast, he's fast.
The main reason for the speed change is fatigue. Mbappe plays long minutes so his speed will deteriorate over time. For sure he isn’t fastter than Usain Bolt but he is faster than tyreek hill just not by a lot. The reason tyreek’s legs move faster than mbappe’s is because hes shorter and he takes shorter strides so his legs move quick. But statistically mbappe’s top speed is faster than tyreek’s.

@@kingdinodragonite3470 I’m aware that American football players wear 10 pounds of gear and Tyreek Hill can maintain his top speed longer than Mbappe but in a short distance race I’m going with Mbappe if it’s long distance I’m going with Tyreek.
You don't make sense at all. Tyreek had a top speed of 41kph last year when he "only" ran 6.70s in the 60m dash. In high school, his top speed might have been at 42kph (For comparison, Carl Lewis when he ran 9.86, has a top speed of 43.4kph, Bolt in his WR ran 44.8kph). Do you even run track? The fastest sprinters in short races are short and stocky guys like Coleman who is the WR holder for the 40 yd dash and 60m indoor dash. Tyreek Hill would be in an even bigger advantage in short distances. If anything, Mbappe would have a better shot at beating Tyreek in the 100m. Tyreek IN HIGH SCHOOL was running 6.58 in the 60m dash. The WR holder Bingtian (who also has the same build as Tyreek, both 5'8 and stocky) is at 6.29. Mbappe would be lucky to even get 6.9 seconds because he has horrible sprinting form. He would get cooked by the best high school sprinters easily and Tyreek was a state champ in track, Mbappe was not even the fastest dude in his school. Mbappe runs a 10.9 in 100m and the best theoretical time he could get at the 60m using the data we have from his top speed of 38kph and his 10.9s 100m, he is projected to have a 6.95 60m time. His 40yd dash is projected to be 4.48s, respectable but that's mediocre for wide receivers in the NFL. @@Hamed_kid_008
He does run weird and he’s definitely not faster than Usain but he might be faster than tyreek. A lot of footballers run weirdly cause when you control a ball at top speed your hands do weird things naturally so it’s probably just a habit.

The thing with football is that you almost never run in straight lines because you need to dribble through players and also you almost never run at full speed because you are fighting for position, with free space mbappe can outspeed almost every player in the pitch. There are just a few that can keep up with him
Bruh the difference is in NFL, is that when players are beaten, they give up, making it look like they are going faster, whereas in football it is not like that, and with the measured speed it shows aswell
Well it is hard to judge. A football pitch is bigger than an American football pitch so scale may be different. Our form tends to change depending on our style of dribbling cos we gotta keep our balance, so that may explain the arm movement. Mines a mix cos I did track at the same time. But I’ll tell you some things that hinder speed. Obviously as the comments say, controlling the ball. If we don’t slow down whilst we kick the ball it’ll fly out of our control so we gotta slow down our leg slightly to control how far the ball goes. 2 is offside. That’s the reason why player can keep up w him, we gotta time our runs cos even if a hand is behind the last man it’s called. And the reason ur looks like players are keeping up w him is goalside. Mbappe can’t just run in a straight line on the wing he gotta curve inwards. Defenders are aware of that so the cover it

@@natemjkd4196 okay and? there is so much movement restricted in pads and holding a ball and switching it between different hands. Also, tyreek has to run after being hit multiple times after being hit by 200-300 lbs people who have been trained to knock the shit out of people for years
@@bobjeff1243You’ve never played soccer/football whatever you want to call it if you’re saying that. It is easily the most exhausting sport I’ve ever played.
Take in consideration that he cannot be ahead of the last defender. He needs to be in line or behind before the guy passes the ball to him so he intentionally slows down until he knows he can go and full on sprint. It’s call an offside. Also, running with the ball, you need keep up with the ball and not be faster or slower. So the defender also tries to keep the same speed and mbappe is doing the same. I think the only way to figure out his fastest time is to do a sprint on a track. Also he needs to be a bit slower because at times he has to cut between defender. He cannot go full on sprint straight into nothing. The point I to score a goal so he needs to slow down and prepare for a kick. It’s not so simple as you put it. Try it for yourself. Futbol players just sprint for a couple of seconds. Soccer players are always running here and there. Like I said, you need to try for yourself to understand how dynamic soccer is. Is not all about being the fastest but Mbappe is pretty fast, just never seen him do a sprint on a track.
Of course he's not faster than Usain Bolt lmao, but he's pretty fast with an horrible form this is some scary shit. Also you're right they usually don't sprint that long in soccer and most of the time it's better to have a good acceleration than a good top speed. Also a soccer game is 90 minutes so sprinting in the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes are way different because you get tired etc. That's why you see that sometimes he's way faster than a previous clip, also sometimes he doesn't run full speed for good reasons (like to avoid the offside trap, time is running to perfection for a good pass etc)
@@sydboski bruh you have break and subs every minute in the nfl, soccer doesn't work like that. That's a stupid question that you just asked I thought you knew better

I get it that it's hard to run with a ball at your feet, and run towards the center. But to be candid if Mbappe and Tyreek raced in the 100m dash and 200m I'd have Tyreek winning both, smoking Mbappe by maybe 5-10 yards. Keep in mind in high school, Tyreek's 200m personal best was an outstanding 20.14s! And his 100m time was an astonishing 10.19s. Which is insane, his 200m time is, literally Olympic times which would probably have him placed 5th-8th with the fastest men on earth, during the 2016 Rio Olympics. And soccer isn't all about speed it's also endurance and stamina. whereas in football especially Tyreek's position where he plays wide receiver/return specialist, speed plays a huge factor.
Hill ran 10.19 100m which made him a word class sprinter. In that race Hill was over 25mph/40kph. There are no world class sprinters in all of pro Association football.
His left arm movement might be due to a habit, in soccer you're allowed to use your arm to hold off defenders, but not necessarily a stiff arm like in American football. So he might be extending it just to have a feel for a defender coming up his left side which is normal if you're a right-footed player.
Running with a ball is much harder than you might think, even a player like Usain Bolt looks slower than a professional footballer when he plays football.
In Football/soccer players Run with open arms like that cause the opponents players pulled each others jersey's while their running for long distances in the field ..it became natural thing to do sense they start playing football in very young age ...someone Like Mbappe run so fast so the other player knows that he had no chance ,,so he pulled his shirt trying to stop him ..Also the right running form will make no difference in football game ..yes it could make some advantage but its not something necessary ...cause football is not a repetitive sport
Bro u have to understand basic knowledge mbappe was looking for his teammates and have the ball at his feet tyreek has the ball on his hands and can just solo run. Way different
You have to remember football is a 90 minute game where players cover over 10km it’s not like tyreek hill coming onto a field after a 5 minute break to make 2 runs and go off again

Who are the guys who told you that Mbappé is faster than Usain Bolt ? People compare uncomparable performances. One is the best at 100m runs, the other is currently one if not the best football player in the world. Mbappé is fast, and do better runs on a football match than Bolt could ever do (he did try football but wasn't that great) but with fresh legs, no ball in the foot and a 100m run, there is no doubt that Bolt destroy Mbappé. These are two very disciplines that you can't compare. I don't even understand how you can even compare them watching Mbappé running after a ball during a football match. Look at Usain Bolt football videos, he was playing in a relatively weak league and still wasn't impressive. The fact that he doesn't outpace everyone every time, doesn't mean anything. You can't just play at 100% for a 15m sprint when your match last 90 minutes, he might be tired too and the defenders aren't always slow, they are pro football players, if they were always outpaced by attackers they wouldn't be great defenders. The problem is that you aren't aware of football as you reconized yourself. And again, you should watch Usain Bolt football videos and say "he isn't that fast because he didn't outpace this guy" lol.
@@shakya00 In a football context with the ball Mbappe is definitely faster but if you put Mbappe on a track with Usain Bolt you already know the answer.

Mbappe along with Alphonso Davies, Kyle Walker, Hakimi, Adama Traore, Marcus Rashford, Kingsley Coman, Ousmane Dembele, Aubameyang, Haaland, Daniel James are usually regarded as the fastest players in World Football but in the past there were Pele, Gareth Bale, Thierry Henry, Theo Walcott, etc
its also hard to compare looking quick in football, and american football. Because in American football you have number of players that don't need to be quick, whereas in football speed is more general and all the players bar the goalie need to be relatively fast. its like saying a winger in rugby is quick all because he is able to outpace a prop. there are also much longer and more breaks in american football, whereas in football you had like 5/10 mins at half-time but other than that you are basically playing for 90mins straight. footballers also have to be able to control the ball and most of the time going for a full on run isn't the best play cuz u will probably get tackled. But in American football you just need to run as far as you can in order to gain ground, and if you are tackled you still retain possession, but in football you have to focus on keeping to ball a lot more . I am not saying that one is better than the other, I just think it is easier to present a players speed in american football compared to football because in football a players' acceleration is more important than their top speed, which is why Tyreek Hill seems quicker, but statistically Mbappe is quicker.
The faster the bolt thing was said based on someone calculating the stop speed ( m/h) they hit in a sprint , so like he’s not faster than bolt but has run faster miles per hour . I don’t really know if I worded that in a way that made sense but yeah
Bro thats poor analysing. You have to understand how many things he has to pay attention to while running. here is an example. He has to see which run makes the most sense, then he often has to look over his shoulder several times to see his potential pass taker. Then he has to make sure that he controls the ball as perfectly as possible at the next contact so that he can play the next pass without errors. In addition, football is a game with an enormous number of changes of direction. Rarely will you find yourself sprinting 40 yards in a straight line. but i agree with you that mbappe has a bad running form. Soccer players don't train their running form. but imagine how fast mbappe would be if he worked on his runningform.
Tyreek Hill does not have to worry about offside traps, controlling the ball with his feet, or strategically putting the ball in the net. If you run fast but can't score, then what's the point? Different rules, different situations, different solutions, different paces. But yeah, his form is not good, just like his posture, but he is not a trained sprinter, he is a trained footballer.

The main reson why players are keeping up it s because he wasn t running is best since he cant be behind the defensive line wich is a line created from side to side based off of the last player of the opposing team, if he does that e won t be able to recieve the pass because the play will be invalid
Come on man. Some of the runs are after 70/80mins of playing. Running while kicking, controlling, protecting the ball from defenders on a natural grass is no joke. Also Football/Soccer is not about speed only. The player gotta think about his next move; dribbling, passing or shooting. Sometime you gotta slow down to trick defenders then speed up which is extremely hard while playing for 90 mins
you have to know also the fact that mbappe dribbles a lot which wastes son much energy and makes your legs heavy which is normal if sometimes some players get close to him, most of other sports have many timeouts wich makes the players recover but in socer the players run most of the time and the ball is always in play wich makes it so exhausting
LMAO!! Why do soccer players not know that the NFL uniform and gear can weigh up to 15 pounds? Hill ran 10.19 100m, which is faster than any pro soccer player ever. In that race Hill ran over 25mph/40kph. So, no, Mbappe is not even close to being faster than Hill.
It's a ridiculous question - Mbappe couldn't run a 4.50 40 dash. He might be high 4.5s at best. Hill would destroy him. But then his physical training is entirely geared to running fast, he doesn't have to worry at all about cardiovascular conditioning, which obviously Mbappe does to enable him to last 90 minutes and run at least 10K....Hill would need mouth-to-mouth after 15 minutes of a top-level football (soccer) match.... Adama Traore is MILES faster than Mbappe, but still wouldn't get close to Hill for the same reasons....

4:20 15 - 20 yards? Now i might not know imperial but a football/soccer field is 93 yards minimum. Keep in mind this guy runs for 90 minutes straight. Him being so fast after 80 minutes of constant running is impressive. You as a track athlete should know this. Keep in mind that he has to controll a ball at the same time whilst picking up that speed so sometimes he even outruns the ball. 6:20 he has to stay behind the defender because if je receives the ball infront of the defender it counts as offside
It's harder to run with the ball and you weren't paying attention to how he starts running behind the den fender and still beats his not faster than bolt but he is faster than tyreek
You can't really compare those sports like that though cos in football everyone is fast and has crazy condition whereas in american football there's also those big player types that could never catch someone quick and agile, also the defenders in the football clips look more persisten in their pursuit whereas a lot of the ones w tyreek hill only jog back because once he's past you you're not catching him cos either he goes all the way or he gets tackled and the play is over. But I do think tyreek has more acceleration and over the longer distances mbappe would catch up to him
I also think that he is maybe not faster than tyreek but he really is fast, you cant see it on the field but he has to keep juice for 90 minutes so he cant run at full speed easily + the defenders are pushing him
He is not faster than Usain Bolt that's for sure, but than Hill, it's questionable, he has a higher top speed, but I don't know if he can keep top speed for that long, since most runs are just a few meters, also the guys that were keeping pace with him are right backs most of the time, which are usually some of the fastest players in the sport.
People in the comment section saying that Mbappe is dribbling with the ball and Tyreek Hill is carrying the ball or this nonsense that Mbappe runs for 90 min just don't know either sport. The speed that Mbappe loses with dribbling is not that much compared to sprinting with 10 pounds of equipment. Let's not forget that most of the plays in the NFL are similar short sideways movements as in football and are straight up sprints. Tyreek Hill has to sprint faster than cornerbacks who aren't slow by any means but they are definitely faster than CBs in football. I still say Mbappe might be faster than Tyreek Hill but not by much. I can see them being close
this is dumb and disrespectful to Mbappe, soccer players have to be on the field for 45 minutes straight no break one half then 45 minutes straight another half no break. Not to mention Mbappe has to control his dribbling and touches on the ball at high speed. Also sometimes he can't always accelerate quickly because he has to stay in a position to recieve a pass or avoid an offsides. It is also important to note in most of these clips he has to dribble around defenders so he rarely runs in a straight line. Also the average pro soccer player is not slow at all and he outpaces them all. I understand you're uneducated about this sport but for a guy critiquing his form so much you didn't pay much attention to other obvious factors
Ofc he not as fast as bolt, the person that said that was trolling but he fosho faster than tyreek and there are others faster than him like traore, nunez

It’s way hard to run with a ball in your feet
When soccer player's top speed is clocked, the ball is not at their feet, they are not actively dribbling the ball when the measurement is taken.

Hill was a world class sprinter. What is it about that you do not understand?
outstretched/straight arm avoids too high knees when running. in soccer, the feet close to the ground are essential for ball control.

And it was a study done when they tracked how fast he ran in games and stuff and it was said that he would run 10,50 seconds in 100m

None of them are faster than Hill.
its also hard to compare looking quick in football, and american football.

Sometime you gotta slow down to trick defenders then speed up which is extremely hard while playing for 90 mins
React to adama traore. One of the fastest footballers
Neither is faster than Hill.
you have to know also the fact that mbappe dribbles a lot which wastes son much energy and makes your legs heavy which is normal if sometimes some players get close to him, most of other sports have many timeouts wich makes the players recover but in socer the players run most of the time and the ball is always in play wich makes it so exhausting
Put them on equal ground. Both fresh, line them up on a track. Hill smashes Mbappe.
Mbappe's top speed is 36kmh (23. 6mph)
Usain Bolt is 44.3 kmh ( 27.3mph)
Tyreek 23. 3 mph
The answer is YES Mbappe is faster than Tyreek
top speed is not everything
Adama traore - the most explosive player on earth. That's the video
I m telling you right know Mbappé is faster, Alphonso Davies is faster and Adama Traoré is faster then Hill 🎯
no lmao
@@bobjeff1243 why you said no ?
@@laugomes7266 cuz they not

@@laugomes7266 tf you mean be more specific?
Bro does realise he needs to run for 90 min not 25 plays like Tyreke
Put them on equal ground. Both fresh, line them up on a track. Hill smashes Mbappe.
Mbappe has bad acceleration so that's why the defense is next to him but him at full speed he's fas5
He is faster then Hill and Bolt, if he was not running with the ball at his feet it woulda been much more obvious
Put them on equal ground. Both fresh, line them up on a track. Hill smashes Mbappe.
why do people in the comments care so much about someone’s opinion when he clearly doesn’t know anything about football
Watch him against argentina!!!⚡️⚡️
It's a ridiculous question - Mbappe couldn't run a 4.50 40 dash. He might be high 4.5s at best. Hill would destroy him.
But then his physical training is entirely geared to running fast, he doesn't have to worry at all about cardiovascular conditioning, which obviously Mbappe does to enable him to last 90 minutes and run at least 10K....Hill would need mouth-to-mouth after 15 minutes of a top-level football (soccer) match....
Adama Traore is MILES faster than Mbappe, but still wouldn't get close to Hill for the same reasons....
Definitely isn’t miles faster 💀
Mbappe actually is faster. 38km/hr vs 36km/hr.
Both lined up at her best on the track nice and fresh. Hill murders Mbappe and any other pro Association football player in history.
Mbappé has to maintain the ball while running that fast. I feel like it is easier for Tyreek to run…I mean it just makes sense to me.
than u dont watch the nfl
bruh this guy doesnt realize how hard it is to sprint while controlling the ball with your feet ofc guys who run without ball are able to at least keep up beside him bc sometimes he has to slow down mid sprint to be able to cotrol the ball if there was no ball and just basic sprint mbappe would leave them in dust
Soccer guys run several miles in 90 minute match.
Put them on equal ground. Both fresh, line them up on a track. Hill smashes Mbappe.
Hi everyone ;) Can't we agree on the fact unless there's a proper race between Hill and Mbappé, there's just no way of answering the question? There are just too many variables, the best we can come up with is uneducated guesses. Except of course if we really want to be a fan of one of the two athletes or sports... Have a nice year yall
Hill ran 1019 100m which was world class. There are NO pro Association football players in history that have run faster than 10.39. Put them on equal ground. Both fresh, line them up on a track. Hill smashes Mbappe.
There are many football rules you don't know and that guy is not faster than Mbappe. He is purely average compared to faster footballers
usain bolt and mbappe run at 38 km /H (23.60 milles /H) Note that Mbappe has a ball between his legs. Of course Mbappe is his top speed and Bolt his average which is normal
Kylian Mbappe has never run for 90 min straight let alone 80 min.
no soccer player runs for 90 mins straight.
Good luck should react to some more players
He is not always fast beacouse he run for 90 minutes, and noone said he is the fastest in the world💀
It's harder to run with the ball and you weren't paying attention to how he starts running behind the den fender and still beats his not faster than bolt but he is faster than tyreek
He is not faster than tyreek lmao
@@ptwatta845yes he is.
@@Hamed_kid_008 How is Mbappe faster than a world class sprinter.
Put them on equal ground. Both fresh, line them up on a track. Hill smashes Mbappe.
But I do think tyreek has more acceleration and over the longer distances mbappe would catch up to him
Put them on equal ground. Both fresh, line them up on a track. Hill smashes Mbappe in the 100-200-and 400. Mbappe wins in anything over 400m
I also think that he is maybe not faster than tyreek but he really is fast, you cant see it on the field but he has to keep juice for 90 minutes so he cant run at full speed easily + the defenders are pushing him
Put them on equal ground. Both fresh, line them up on a track. Hill smashes Mbappe.
They are fullbacks not cb and they are as fast as wingers. Examples are Davies, Walker, Hakimi, etc
@@robinkujur4988 those players are exceptions though in terms of their speed. Andy Robertson is not nearly as fast as cornerbacks
this is dumb and disrespectful to Mbappe, soccer players have to be on the field for 45 minutes straight no break one half then 45 minutes straight another half no break.
It's fast with the ball on his feet. Imagine if he will carry it in his hand like the other one does.😂😂😂😂
Still wouldn’t be as fast lmao
pads? also tyreek gets hit by 200-300 lbs ppl who have been trained for years to knock the shit out of ppl and still runs like this
Ofc he not as fast as bolt, the person that said that was trolling but he fosho faster than tyreek and there are others faster than him like traore, nunez
No, he’s not.
11:13 its cause he has the balls in his hand not trying to keep it on his feet its 100 times harder
He is holding the ball while running. You are tripping bro. He has to run and control the ball or run and not be offside bro. There are rules to where you located in soccer.
You havw to realaie the reason that the defenders are even close to him is because he has the ball at his feet. If he didn't have the ball he wpuld outrun then easy
You should do adama traore i think personally he faster than mbappe
Both slower than Hill.
@@sydboski Yeah i know never Said they they faster Than him
in football theres something called offside so you cant just run lool Var will put you offside
Check out Alphonso Davies next man. Another speedster and I think he’ll be more your type of sprinter

Neither is faster than Hill.
He is faster than hill that's for sure

@@ptwatta845he is 😅
Tyreek Hill is juiced up and doesn't need to control a ball with his feet give Mbappe peds and he will be way faster than Tyreek Hill
10:37 anyone can keep up with you if you don't run in a straight line 😂
not faster than Bolt obviously. But i want your professional opinion on his possible 100m time. I am convinced he can run sub 11 on track with spikes. I mean like hes hitting almost 38 kmh while running on muddy grass being fatigued from previous play so to produce that speed in very suboptimal conditions...do you think it can translate to sub 11 time on track? I belive he could be as fast as top women sprinters.
