SO valuable. Thank you so much!! I will be translating them and singing them in Waldorf inspired AND mainstream schools in Verona, Italy this year!

Beautiful verses! My baby typically asks to be breastfed to fall asleep. What would be the best way to start introducing the bedtime verse you shared in this video? Thanks in advance.

lornadahl campilan I think your baby is not a baby anymore... But I would have sung the verse while he (she?) was nursing 😊

Is there a way to combine Waldorf and Christian homeschool?

Autumn L.- Seasonal Living Waldorf is, in fact, Christian! Rudolf Steiner wanted to create a different way to bond with God for a Christian. Waldorf Schools celebrate Christmas and all the rest of Christian Holidays.
When Waldorf education began to spread all over the world each country adapted the holidays to their own ❤️

I realise this question is asked a year ago but I want to answer it anyway.
I don't really agree with Raquel because I think the way Rudolf Steiner thought doesn't really concur with the Bible... But I do think there is a way to combine Waldorf in your Christian homeschool!
Especially when you're homeschooling you can use Waldorf methods the way you want. Personally I wouldn't follow a Waldorf curriculum exactly as a Christian, from what I've seen from it. But I see ways where you can maybe change some stories, poems or songs for Bible stories and christian songs/poems. I think the principal of including story telling, art, movement, music and poems in education is wonderful! You can do this even without a Waldorf curriculum. For example you can tell a story from the Bible and the next day the child can draw and paint pictures about the story and after several parts of the story you can bind it together. When a child is older it can add some text aswell and you can learn the Bible versers by head with your child. Later they can also read from their own work. I think the way they repeatedly come back in Waldorf to the same story through storytelling, art, writing and singing is a great way to memorise and isn't it great when you can do this with the Bible!

No!!!!!!!! Light Can Not Mix with Darkness!!!!!!! The Bible has enough information to teach you how to raise your children in the fear of God. The roots of waldorf are not Christian any way ; they are a counterfeit and Christina parents should not be exposing their children to this. Sola Scriptura : God's word Alone is enough!!!!!

@@Lily_and_River I totally agree with You.
We are to follow the bible and not feebals .... is sad I liked waldorf but it's today that I found about it's roots.
The devil is really good at counterfeiting!!!! Imagine how many kids are raised on these schools parents hoping they children are in the right direction away from state schools.
