Caledonian Rd is still pretty mixed and there is a lot of businesses, train lines, noise and social housing. Basically it isn’t gentrified and is a lot cheaper than the other side of Islington. Some beautiful houses though.

compared to places slightly further from central london this is a horrible deal as near me right now there is a 4 bed home for sale for about £800k whilst that place is probably 2 bed max

It's very cheap for such a central location. The area is a bit shitty and those style of houses are poorly built not to mention from google maps their gardens look tiny and often without any green. Its also a reasonably ugly road and many of the houses don't have any parking.

I lived on this street mid-90s. The day we moved in, one of my housemates passed a group of cops surrounding a scraggy looking guy, ordering him, 'Put down the needle.' Next day I two two guys chasing the dragon on the steps across the road. The end of Caledonian Rd. around the corner was always full of drug dealers. Once, in the doorway of the Italian deli that used to be there, I found a bag of grass. Initially thought it might be oregano, because of where I found it.
