There are several scholars who believe hell is not eternal, but a way for people to be purified in order to enter Jannah.. the duration of purification and rehabilitation of course differing depending on what the person did to end up in hell. It should also be noted what is meant by "unaware of the message of Islam" or "disbelievers", these are people who KNOW Islam is the truth but still reject it out of ego. This does not include people who heard about Islam but don't believe it in their hearts.

But it is recommended to join Islam if it has been presented to you personally. It can free you from hell fire. This is the best answer to this question that I have seen. Basically Islam puts a lot of emphasis on intellectual sincerity and personal accountability. God does not punish people who are honestly trying to seek the truth but have not found it. But if you are given the truth on a plate, in a manner that is obvious and easy to understand, yet still reject it in favour of arrogance or other vested interests then indeed you have to take responsibility for that decision i.e. when you die and find out that actually God does exist and heaven and hell do exist and people are accountable for what they did during their lives, you don’t really have an excuse when God asks you “why did you reject the truth that was presented to you?”.

Despite the fact that anyone who doesn’t accept Islam as a religion will not be saved, yet as for individuals of non-Muslims, God can save from fire anyone He wishes, as He has the full authority on the Day of Judgment. There are two duties that human beings have to act on while on this world : (1) The 'Good' that people regard as 'morally good' which makes them a good person and benefits him in this world, and, the 'GOOD' that we have to render towards Our Maker. We need to know first what is the GOOD that Our Maker requires from us to worship him in Truth. This is the primary requirement because He is Our Maker and not the people around us. This does not mean that we should not give importance towards the good we should render to fellow human beings because this is also a requirement by Our Maker. Rather, we should prioritize the GOOD commanded to mankind which is a RESPONSIBILITY towards The Lord of the worlds. ... This is what we will be needing on the Day of Judgement.

The information one needs to know before reading the Quran is that most of the verses of the Quran is responding Muhammad's immediate addressees who were Mushriq Qurayish, Arab Jew and Arab Christian etc , so the verses were revealed in response to the questions, doubts, claims and taunts of the immediate addressee of the Prophet. So The Quran is a responsive discourse and many times verses were revealed under the then socio-political circumstances. So the word 'Kafir' literally means who hide the truth and in Quranic case the word 'Kafir' was referring to the people who knew that Muhammad was a prophet but didn’t admit out of tribal glory,arrogance and stubbornness. That's why Quran says in one of it’s verses that " We shall show them (the immediate addressees of the prophet) Our signs in the horizons and within themselves, untill it becomes clear to them that it is the truth."(41:53). So immediate addressees of the prophet were made clear by God that Muhammad was a prophet , yet some rejected out of arrogance and stubbornness and hence they were called 'Kafir' which literally means the rejector of truth or those who hide the truth. Unfortunately, today Quran is read out of context and the word 'Kafir' is widely translated as 'The unbeliever' which is absurdly a wrong translation.

What if a person born in a Christian family, and when he reached puberty learned that Cristian teaching is false and bible had been tempered with because he believed in One God. I think Prophet Muhammad's Uncle, Abu Talib can be a good example to this issue. And there is also the people who are cut off from any civilizations, basically receiving no reminder of Islam. They call religion man made but isn't science man made too? Like who convinced us that 1+1 = 2? You should worship the creator in the way he ordered you to worship him by, so you can't stay Christian or Jewish while knowing that Islam is the real message from the creator, then you say it's about my heart, because if someone really wants to worship the creator and enter his paradise then there are obligations that have to be followed, so anyone who's heard about Islam and purely believed it's the religion from the creator should instantly enter Islam, since it's the only way to paradise. The Bible and Old testiment are scripted and have contradictions that make it impossible that these books are from the creator, so you should follow the book that's fully preserved and didn't get a single letter from it scripted at all.
But that, what I said, doesn't mean that those who haven't heard about Islam will go straight to hell. The creator is the most justful, and he will treat them in the most merciful way, so we shouldn't worry about their fate, since the creator is more merciful towards them than we are towards them.
@@jaywalker6464 there’s no way you could do it, though, not even somehow 😳 because the teachers would never give you a copy of the test if you’re not in the attendance list like- you’d have to be in their system to get graded. You can attend the classes, but you can’t turn in assignments or take tests (if the teacher grades them they could even get fired). And if you don’t get grades then you can’t graduate so basically: no, you won’t graduate from a campus you never register in.

Even if you managed to take a picture of the test or something and print it out (highly unlikely because how would you find a test copy before the test is done?) and you took the test that way… the teacher would still not grade your test since you aren’t their student. Quran/Islam is very clear that those who will go to heaven are: “ Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve”. So the criteria is believing in the Creator, the day of judgment and do good deeds, whether you are a Muslim, Jew, Christian or any person. The verse is crystal clear.

This ayat is taking about the Jews and Christian’s that followed Jesus and Abraham will go to jannah but the ones who disbelieved from the Jews and Christian’s will not go to jannah
In tafser of ibn kather: The verse: It was revealed about the companions of Salman al-Farisi, while he was talking to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, when he mentioned his companions, so he told him their news, so he said: They used to fast and pray and believe in you, and bear witness that you will send a prophet, when Salman finished praising them, the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him: O Salman, they are from the people of Hell. This became more and more severe for Salman, so God revealed this verse, and the faith of the Jews was: that he who adhered to the Torah and the Sunnah of Moses, peace be upon him; Until Jesus came. When Jesus came, he who adhered to the Torah and followed the Sunnah of Moses, and did not leave it and did not follow Jesus, was doomed. And the belief of the Christians is that whoever adhered to the Gospel among them and the laws of Jesus was a believer and was accepted by him until Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came.

He was sent by God so we humans can follows God’s law through him. The answer is simple. There will be no judgement for whom didnt get the message or got missinformed about islam. When a person gets the message well and right it doenst matter if hes a good person but non believer because being a good person is already needed to be a muslim. İmagin your a basketball player and you can dribble like no one else but you dont score. You are running around and dribbling. At the end of the game you cant complain why you lost the game. So for paradise you need certain skills: dribbling, throwing condition training fitness and most important thing u need to score. So believe in god and his messanger, be a good person, pray 5 times a day, fast , avoid sins and so on. These are all skills u need for paradise. Sry for my english.

Yes indeed, very nice question! There are ppl who are gonna be called in arabic (ahl alfatra) which means the ppl of the period or ppl in the middle (btwn heaven and hellfire). These are ppl who either never heard abt Mohammed pbuh or Islam or didn't have enough information abt Islam to establish a belief or follow it. Allaah does not treat anybody unfairly. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning). [al-Israa 17:15]. The evidence (daleel) for this is the hadeeth of al-Aswad ibn Saree, who reported that the Prophet of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: There are four (who will protest) to Allaah on the Day of Resurrection: the deaf man who never heard anything, the insane man, the very old man, and the man who died during the fatrah (the interval between the time of Eesaa (Jesus, upon whom be peace) and the time of Muhammad SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)). The deaf man will say, O Lord, Islam came but I never heard anything. The insane man will say, O Lord, Islam came but the children ran after me and threw stones at me. The very old man will say, O Lord, Islam came but I did not understand anything. The man who died during the fatrah will say, O Lord, no Messenger from You came to me. He will accept their promises of obedience, then word will be sent to them to enter the Fire. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if they enter it, it will be cool and safe for them. so the fatrah means not between heaven and hell, but between the time of Isa (pbuh) and Muhammad (salallahu alayhi wasallam). Also, these 4 types of people arent the only ones who might be pardoned (as far as I know)

There are several scholars who believe hell is not eternal, but a way for people to be purified in order to enter Jannah.. the duration of purification and rehabilitation of course differing depending on what the person did to end up in hell. It should also be noted what is meant by "unaware of the message of Islam" or "disbelievers", these are people who KNOW Islam is the truth but still reject it out of ego. This does not include people who heard about Islam but don't believe it in their hearts.

This is the best answer to this question that I have seen. Basically Islam puts a lot of emphasis on intellectual sincerity and personal accountability. God does not punish people who are honestly trying to seek the truth but have not found it. But if you are given the truth on a plate, in a manner that is obvious and easy to understand, yet still reject it in favour of arrogance or other vested interests then indeed you have to take responsibility for that decision i.e. when you die and find out that actually God does exist and heaven and hell do exist and people are accountable for what they did during their lives, you don’t really have an excuse when God asks you “why did you reject the truth that was presented to you?”.

The information one needs to know before reading the Quran is that most of the verses of the Quran is responding Muhammad's immediate addressees who were Mushriq Qurayish, Arab Jew and Arab Christian etc , so the verses were revealed in response to the questions, doubts, claims and taunts of the immediate addressee of the Prophet. So The Quran is a responsive discourse and many times verses were revealed under the then socio-political circumstances. So the word 'Kafir' literally means who hide the truth and in Quranic case the word 'Kafir' was referring to the people who knew that Muhammad was a prophet but didn’t admit out of tribal glory,arrogance and stubbornness. That's why Quran says in one of it’s verses that " We shall show them (the immediate addressees of the prophet) Our signs in the horizons and within themselves, untill it becomes clear to them that it is the truth."(41:53). So immediate addressees of the prophet were made clear by God that Muhammad was a prophet , yet some rejected out of arrogance and stubbornness and hence they were called 'Kafir' which literally means the rejector of truth or those who hide the truth. Unfortunately, today Quran is read out of context and the word 'Kafir' is widely translated as 'The unbeliever' which is absurdly a wrong translation.

You should worship the creator in the way he ordered you to worship him by, so you can't stay Christian or Jewish while knowing that Islam is the real message from the creator, then you say it's about my heart, because if someone really wants to worship the creator and enter his paradise then there are obligations that have to be followed, so anyone who's heard about Islam and purely believed it's the religion from the creator should instantly enter Islam, since it's the only way to paradise. The Bible and Old testiment are scripted and have contradictions that make it impossible that these books are from the creator, so you should follow the book that's fully preserved and didn't get a single letter from it scripted at all.
But that, what I said, doesn't mean that those who haven't heard about Islam will go straight to hell.
The creator is the most justful, and he will treat them in the most merciful way, so we shouldn't worry about their fate, since the creator is more merciful towards them than we are towards them.

You can attend the classes, but you can’t turn in assignments or take tests (if the teacher grades them they could even get fired). And if you don’t get grades then you can’t graduate so basically: no, you won’t graduate from a campus you never register in.

Even if you managed to take a picture of the test or something and print it out (highly unlikely because how would you find a test copy before the test is done?) and you took the test that way… the teacher would still not grade your test since you aren’t their student. Quran/Islam is very clear that those who will go to heaven are:
“ Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve”.

This became more and more severe for Salman, so God revealed this verse, and the faith of the Jews was: that he who adhered to the Torah and the Sunnah of Moses, peace be upon him; Until Jesus came. When Jesus came, he who adhered to the Torah and followed the Sunnah of Moses, and did not leave it and did not follow Jesus, was doomed. And the belief of the Christians is that whoever adhered to the Gospel among them and the laws of Jesus was a believer and was accepted by him until Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came.

The answer is simple. There will be no judgement for whom didnt get the message or got missinformed about islam. When a person gets the message well and right it doenst matter if hes a good person but non believer because being a good person is already needed to be a muslim. İmagin your a basketball player and you can dribble like no one else but you dont score. You are running around and dribbling. At the end of the game you cant complain why you lost the game. So for paradise you need certain skills: dribbling, throwing condition training fitness and most important thing u need to score. So believe in god and his messanger, be a good person, pray 5 times a day, fast , avoid sins and so on. These are all skills u need for paradise. Sry for my english.

The problem in your logic is that you think morality comes from one single thing but in reality There are many things that affects our morality and not just because "someone said so", morality comes from Environment, Knowledge, experience of others (friends, family etc), personal experience, culture, traditions, emotional state etc.

Yes indeed, very nice question! There are ppl who are gonna be called in arabic (ahl alfatra) which means the ppl of the period or ppl in the middle (btwn heaven and hellfire). These are ppl who either never heard abt Mohammed pbuh or Islam or didn't have enough information abt Islam to establish a belief or follow it. These ppl are gonna be tested again in a manner only God swt knows and when they succeed in the test they go to heaven otherwise to hellfire. May God swt protect us all from hellfire.

Allaah does not treat anybody unfairly. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning). [al-Israa 17:15].
The evidence (daleel) for this is the hadeeth of al-Aswad ibn Saree, who reported that the Prophet of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: There are four (who will protest) to Allaah on the Day of Resurrection: the deaf man who never heard anything, the insane man, the very old man, and the man who died during the fatrah (the interval between the time of Eesaa (Jesus, upon whom be peace) and the time of Muhammad SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)). The deaf man will say, O Lord, Islam came but I never heard anything. The insane man will say, O Lord, Islam came but the children ran after me and threw stones at me. The very old man will say, O Lord, Islam came but I did not understand anything. The man who died during the fatrah will say, O Lord, no Messenger from You came to me. He will accept their promises of obedience, then word will be sent to them to enter the Fire. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if they enter it, it will be cool and safe for them.
so the fatrah means not between heaven and hell, but between the time of Isa (pbuh) and Muhammad (salallahu alayhi wasallam). Also, these 4 types of people arent the only ones who might be pardoned (as far as I know)
