People say edm music is just repeated notes but deadmau5 is a whole journey. You really appreciate the variety of the different notes and sounds through each sections of his song.
I always thought this was the best song he ever made, it’s deadmau5 perfection and it’s just something about this song that hits more then any other song, the progression is perfect, it’s not repetitive and doesn’t feel like it stretched for too long and the melody is incredible. Everything is just balanced.
Dude. The original sounds almost comically sped up after listening to this. I don't think he nailed the tempo, the ideal would've somewhere been between this and the original

When I go through his discography there are too many 7, 8, 9 10 minute ballots with no help from lyrics, that stand tall on their own. Straight journeys, you know how hard it is to make a song 7 minutes long without any lyrics to drag you through it. Its hard.
I think that the fact that deadmau5 can do 10 minute tracks that don't bore or annoy is in part due to the genre (progressive house). For a song to be "progressive" it needs time to create a progression, and deadmau5 is really good at taking its time to guide the listener to long progressions. I'm glad that deadmau5 never did big room extended songs and remained true to his genre
HR 8938 is a star system, but it's also legislation. Wonder which one he is referring to. The legislation refers to abortion so it's plausible that it's about that. Interesting...

Yep, one of my favorite songs of all time and definitely my favorite from deadmau5. I can see the appeal of Strobe but this song speaks to me more.
