Is their anyway with the authors permission to lower the spoilers for the 2016 season to make them look like the real car with the low downforce package
Great Sounds; However this dosen't feel like Gen6 Sounds. The NR2003's Issue is that we are trying to get Realisitic TV and Roof Cam Sounds. This is where NR2003 fails in terms of Modern Day sound editing. We can have Great TV sounds and Lackluster Roof Sounds; Or Great Roof Sounds and Lackluster TV Sounds. Unless we are able to figure out how to enhance and improve upon the NR2003's Engine outside of Tracks, Mods, Physics, etc. We will be limited in the sounds we can use.
+Danka McDanka Yes, it was a decision to either focus on TV or roof cam sounds and I decided on TV. It was possible to make a roof sound for the player be separate from the AI outside but it would've ruined the TV sound for the player. In actuality though, the cars would sound like like this if a mic was placed outside on the roof (incar roof cams on TV use audio from in the car, otherwise it would be just wind).
it would be nice if someone would explain what to name the sound file for cockpit sounds etc. because i need to have 7 files for interior apparently any help would be appreciated.
if u ever make a v2, make the winston_med file have a boosted 100-200hz level. it makes it more bassy, and its better than the thin med sound. a deeper winston_med makes it more natural
+mike morabito Field of view. It is very important in a racing sim to have a correct field of view based on the size of your monitor and the distance you are away from it. The FOV in Nr2003 is broken though so we are stuck at 78 degrees in widescreen. I figured out how to fix it but it will take some time to make a video because it's a bit complicated and I want it to be as easy as possible to follow. In the meantime, here is a video showing how important it is: th-cam.com/video/4yYeiAHsdr0/w-d-xo.html Also, give me some criticisms of what you don't like in the soundpack so that when i do get around to updating it, I know what I need to fix. One thing I know I want to work on is giving the incar and outcar sounds more low end and lowering the volume levels of the outside sounds so that you can hear the incar better.
+contemax0 There's your problem. I highly suggest switching to Chrome. Chrome is also safer as it doesn't have security holes like IE has and it blocks dangerous websites and scans downloaded files.
How did you get the mirror not to disappear in cockpit when I move too close to it with Camhack

Dang, that sounds VERY nice. Almost sounds like some sort of sports car though... Maybe would fit well with a Trans-Am mod?
Great work! It sounds amazing.

Great sounds for a more touring car type mod. Sounds like a Corvette.
