Looks like most of the footage was recorded in LogC color and never converted to rec709 - cameras shoot in a compressed color space to redistribute color data from the less-noticeable mid-tones to the lighter and darker tones, then you apply the "Lut" in post-production to bring the colors back - there's tutorials on TH-cam on how to do this in Davinci Resolve, which is a free download, or usually the editing software can do it too
