I got the 500 model this month. It works in charging and measuring the capacities. Though, I'm not sure to how accurate the device is. I do agree that for lots of batteries it sucks. You need a long, long time before you get the capacity of each cell. Interestingly, When I charged 4 cells together, I wasn't able to change the charging current, the maximum is set to 500 mAh. Another tricky part of this device, when you select the charging mode, you need to press the current button within seconds to change the charging current or it locks up with 500 mAh. Lots of weird things! Not to mention that the manual comes written poorly in English.

Mine can charge at 1amp per bay all at the same time, but it does get warm.
does it discharge the battery to 3.0V before it charge it again?
Hey mine makes a buzzing noise and the screen is all messed up after the light use..Hope I ll get a new one or a refund.
