"Medeu" is located in the tract of the same name in Zailiyskiy Alatau near Almaty at an altitude of about 1700 meters above sea level. It is the heart of Almaty city and the biggest ice skating court.
There are a few cafes and restaurants on the territory of the sports complex "Medeu”. You can spend a good time and have a delicious lunch there. The skating rink receives up to 240 thousand visitors annually.
The legendary Ladder of Health has 842 steps and is well-known to all residents of the city and tourists. Here you can warm up and walk up the stairs to the very top to Gorelnik. You can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Zailiyskiy Alatau Mountains from here.
We recommend you to climb here to get a burst of energy and see this enchanting view from the dam to the ice rink, its surroundings, and enchanting mountain landscapes.
