Watching Buddy wander up for a pet or a scratch brought back memories, thank you! I can't think of anything more calming in a herd than wandering up to a bovine chewing its cud then sitting and leaning against it while it chews. OK, the burps can be a bit rude but it is still a very calming experience.
Thanks for showing Buddy again! I remember when his momma abandoned him. He is such a sweetheart. The herd looks great. Glad surrogate momma has integrated into the herd finally.

Now I am old, but still miss that because I was Always in my Element and still much of a Tom Boy today. U r so Amazing at Everything u do, and I know it saves Quite a bit of money. Ur Skills r hard to come by these days. Keep Pushing!

Love the interaction with Buddy. My bottle calf steers are about 2 years old now and want to play like I'm their size when I get in the pasture. Not as calm as Buddy. They run around and buck like calves still when I'm around. My only interaction has to be through the gates unfortunately or I'll probably get head butted or ran over.

Im curious if you plan to put hoops across the top to stabalize the middle of the sides...I kinda picture cows pushing on the sides while feeding trying to reach hay towards the center and bowing the walls in much like the jack being bent while they push on the feeder.
Seems to be wide for a cattle feed wagon. If they push the feed towards the center as they eat, will you always have to sweep it to the sides or are you going to put something down the middle to keep the hay and/or feed towards the sides?

He mentioned a wood floor. We’ll see if that’s the decision or not.
There is a pile of what looks like recycled wood next to the hay wagon. He has said he would likely put a wood floor back in. :-)

Hell, if the cattle move and push around the back tires of trailer...the tires are great supports as-is.
