Don’t do the battery light thing or you’ll end up having unlit buildings eventually. Just do the DC transformer and wiring. Remember to have enough amps. 👍🍻
I would definitely look into making an Accessory bus to power the lights. Your leds i would recommend to wire in series and buy a 1.5 to 2.0 amp DC power pack! Or i would wire in a switch to turn all the lights off and on running off your dcc system.
