    "Mess with stuff." Excellent advice. I'd also recommend you take notes when you discover something cool that you plan to use later. My [free] note application allows screen clipping, so I can post before-and-after pics alongside the settings that I used.

    Just a quick tip: you can make that famous "3D effect" look by using a correction layer set to level correction. Basically, put your original finished drawing in a folder called "red" and a duplicate version of it in a folder called "blue". In the red folder, reduce the bar to the minimum in both green and blue. In the blue folder, reduce the bar to the minimum in the red option. Finally, put both folders in "Difference" (layer mode), pick up the move tool and move to the right (or left, or whatever you prefer) to get the desired effect.

      way too much work. there are free cilp studio assets auto actions doing this for you and you only need to move xD

    i didnt know you could have it as a layer i thought i had to flatten the whole image to one layer and apply it through edit>filter
