Good review. Totally agree on that leather strap (its just awfull) and that 12 should be lumed. Also, that case looks like butchered version of the case of their Prospex gmt diver.
The V175 movement is the same as in the Solar Chrono Divers (SSC019), which doesn't have the crowded face; and has a 200M WR. You can find those chronograph divers for less than $200.
great review as always, even I'm not a fan of leather straps. also I want to say that almost more than half of Seiko automatic models are not available on Long island n I had a question can you shade some light on 7s36 vs 7s26 movement, difference n superiority between this two.
I bought this watch last month and absolutely hated it. My biggest gripe was the one thing you didn't mention....the size of the date window. It is TINY and so deep set it is virtually impossible to read. I DO NOT recommend this watch. I exchanged mine for an SKX 007 which is fantastic.
Yes I have 2 nice leather band watches I use when I go out for special occasions. The rest of my collection are all SS bands.
Nice to see an review of this watch. I was considering buying one but then I bought myself an Victorinox.
The strap keepers are normal. Most have a floating one. But I just don't care much for this one. I'll stick to my SSG001.

I know, I have reviewed quite a few of them :)
I know. Your reviews helped inform my decision to buy two of them.

No difference between the two.

Yeah the date window is CRAZY small.
Totally agreed, I bought one as well, the date feature it's the one that bother me most
No more Seiko after spend a lot of money in this watch, I'm going back to G-Shock
Honoust review that concludes in fact that this is a watch you don't want
