DJ Parkhorich Flavour has so many hit songs that you will be lost searching for which one is the best. However, Ashawo remix remains the song that took him to International audience. It was (still is) a monster hit that rocked the whole world for almost 2yrs. Ada Ada is the emotional song that a lot of people connect to. My Favourite is Awele ft Umu-Obiligbo. Golibe, Nneketa all are solid songs. He's the King of Highlife. Ghanaians think highlife can't penetrate the world, but Flavour is that example that it can if you evolve it to suit the modern times. I love our Ijele ! 🙌🏾👍🏾✅🇳🇬
It’s high time Nigerian artists stop being pan Africans and start being Nigerian. I have come across quite a few of Tyla’s interviews, and she is all about South Africa. She never says African music, she says SA music and culture. It’s only Nigerian artists that try to be inclusive on their interviews and platforms by saying African music and culture. The artists need to be intentional henceforth, by saying this is Nigerian music and culture. Every country for itself. I have noticed that with some small African countries as well. When they have a chance to be on an interview, it’s all about their country. Nigeria is the only country talking about “Africa this, Africa that. Let’s make this about Nigeria.
Upon the popularity of Afrobeat, Flavour never changed. He has built his fan base and they love him for that. Ghana should stay with Highlife and spend better money on shooting quality videos. Also Ghana musician need to change their dressing mode, all those bandana on your head is bull...crap. Let Ghanaian upgrade their dressing and look for better location to shoot quality videos. You can't be stingy with yourself and expect a stranger to put money on you. Look really matters in music industry.
DJ, all those accolades/names to you are merited

The fact other people or nations are myopic and small minded doesn't mean we should be like them.
