How cool. Respect to this chef who doesn’t claim to be a master creator of somebody else’s culinary. With open hearts he used the word imitation of Thai food to the best he can.
Full balance in an all rounded flavors from amazing fresh herbs and spices used in the Thai cuisine will certainly keep us healthy. Eating food like medicine can be delicious and-There is a reason why Thai population doesn’t get unhealthy fat in high numbers like many other cuisines. We can see the great personal qualities of the Thai humbleness and easygoing attitude in Luke’s cooking shown here in this news content.
Now let’s hope his Thai welcoming restaurant will be for ever filled with customers.❤❤
When we were in Thailand we can ritually just live on their humongous choices of salads dishes. Apart from their good curries, Stew and stir-fried, must say that the Thai can turn any leafy green, fresh vegetables into a wow 🤩 salads. And when they are bored with their countless salad options = the Thai then starts creating chili dips and sauces to eat with the salad and branch vegetables 🥗 😂😅😊 really overboard with crazy choices spoiler.
For us - the simple fresh green smashed papaya, cucumbers or un ripples mango salad varieties that is bursting in unique tastes and textures is the favorite discovery.
All Thai regional salad dishes particularly goes so well together in the complimenting taste with to die for lemongrass stuffing or some types of herbs in their Thai style BBQ grilled succulents chicken, meats or fish. 🤤 so - so yummy and absolutely fresh 😋

That braised ox tongue is a staple menu in a rare breed of restaurant in Bangkok, the Hainanese cookshop.
It's a western-fusion food originated in Thailand and I consider it to be Thai food.
This guy definitely knows his stuff.

Ha, you can tell the Thai’s in the restaurant; they eat with a spoon in the right hand and a fork in the left hand. 🥰 Love it.

Don't forget one signature of Thai which is short serving spoon or middle spoon in Thailand .

Just to clarify how delicious Thai food is I definitely wanted to be reincarnated as a food tasting machine only for Thai cuisine in my next life.

Thailand is the only country in South East Asia, apart from Indonesia and Malaysia where I find the food palatable and appealing to try.

To be honest we are nearly on the same page. Though on personal preference, we think Thai food has more choices, better flavors, beautifully more appetizing in artistry appearances presentation forms than Malay or Indonesia, and as a definite, the Thai are much more creative in food innovations culinary wise in general.
Give it one good example here= young coconuts , common in the three countries mentioned.
Unfortunately, even just by peeling into a pure white cutest circle soft bouncy ball hygienically and making it ready for extremely easy consumption on both sweet juice and succulents meat without any digging forced into its natural deep hard shell, = Thailand delivered this to perfection.
While Indonesia, Malaysia and in fact - the rest of the world that have coconut trees still figuring out how to master this result effectively.
Some even invented high tech expensive machinery where only people with money can afford.
However, the Thai impressively done it in two minutes by hand crafting movements skill & hardly touching the edible meat itself and only holding on to the coconut shell part - by just using their cheap craft bendy flexible knife invention from years back, and popping out the whole coconut ball without losing a drop of the juice like magic.
We were one of the 70million viewers saw it being done on utube viral several years back but had been eating delicious young coconut meat and galloping down the Thai sweet coconut juice this way for nearly 15-20 years.
The video broke out again four years ago in Indian by the young boy who mastered the skills by following the techniques of the Thai trade.
Today Thai coconut peeler knives are in high demands and many utube released on the similar coconut peeling contents now and again pop up.
It is not only because of good marketing strategies that make Thai food famous. But- in the culinary world, amongst the world’s top in most palatable flavorful, balanced & healthy, quality values in cost, reachable in skills, cooking methods and conveniences.
Together more with such uniqueness in all approachable aspects = there are also the natural humongous ingredients aspersions - whether of simple to a rare native found gem authenticity or that of the new fusion from common recipes adaptations of different worldwide culture and modern influences cuisines = then, Thai food it is.

Sometimes freash meaty spring rolls with blood sausage and fishy spicy peanut dip is better than toast with bangers and beans. 💙
If you wanna get down to brass tax jumping shrimp salad with toast, the surprise is its a little sweet.
If you let them die in the sauce they get over powered.

Most Thai restaurants 99% in US are not authentic. They substitute jalapeño peppers for Thai peppers. Use vegetables not used In Thailand. What they pass off is crap.

lmao 99%. you have been to all the states where there are large Thai communities? I highly doubt it. You probably not from the us.
