    I know my onions it's amazing...Perhaps I finally found the right English expression to use instead of "I know my chicken"....we use in Italian "conosco i miei polli" meaning that we know how the people around us (colleagues, children, etc) are going to act or to react in a situation. Can I use it in the same way?

    • @LoveEnglishUK
      @LoveEnglishUK  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm not quite in the same way.. it is more about knowledge in an area of study or particular skills. But you could say when it comes to understanding people I know my onions as this seems to be a skill. Thanks Adelasia XX

    Hi Leila and Sabra. I lost my plot when I saw such a beautiful ladies first time and been chuffed when I came across with your you tube channel while my English seemed went to pot. Please, take it not as whinging bloke went nuts. I felt hunky dory for following fortnight while skiving in Mediterranean and watching your videos. It looks like you know your onions not in English teaching only, but in how to be fit and bloody charming also. My mind in shambles consuming all topics, but looking forward......THANKS A LOT LADIES YOU ARE SUPER
