I'm a new viewer and just want to say I really appreciate you doing videos about products at Dollar Tree! The skin care industry is so confusing, and if you listen to every expert and "expert", you'll walk away thinking you need to spend hundreds of dollars. Not something most people can do. Thanks for talking about some options that we can consider for a low price point.
Thank you, Dr Dray, so very much for mentioning allergic dermatitis of the eyelids! The itch/burn is torture, minor league, but enough to make one miserable. I always learn from your science-, logic-, and reason-based videos - and also relax and enjoy. Enjoy your week 💚
That Dermasil lotion was out for a while and it’s pretty good. The Aloe definitely feels better on my dry skin! I also have the CareAll petroleum jelly and it has a lotion type of formula!
Haha, i accidentally wore a green shirt there yesterday, got stopped twice by other customers, its like wearing red at target lol... I've been enjoying the global beauty masks that have the most benign ingredients - they make a nice humectant & gentle cleansing layer under another mask, esp masks that can be a bit irritating. Also, in my town, the 13 oz jars of freeman's Aztec clay knockoff are still avail - just kaolin & bentonite, an incredible deal if you enjoy simple DIYs (1/4-1/2 cup in the bath for me).
If I can get skin care for $1.25 that's Dr Dray approved, I'm all in! I've tried a few products in the Bolero line and they were terrible. Enjoyed the walk through and your thoughts on the products. Thanks, as always. Happy Thursday, Dr Dray!! Hope you have a peaceful evening. 💙
I think Bolero is listening to Dr. Dray! They have these new mask that don't have any perfume, some of them have fruit extracts but I found the Bolero green tea masks and I'm stocking up!!!
@juliemcdaniel499 Oh no, I don't grab any junk masks with fragrance and bothersome ingredients. I found some that had no fragrance and did my own research on the ingredients and it looks pretty good! It only has humectants and emollients, then the green tea extract! I used it, and it calmed down some of my redness. I was just hoping Dr. Dray ran into them!!! Every time I see them I stock up on them..I hope she sees it the next time around!!!

Now in January my nails lovely! I have nicer looking hands at age 61 than I ever remember having when I was younger. This wisdom arrived late, LOL!

Thanks so much for this, I like trying stuff from the dollar store because it's cheap so not a lot of risk if something doesn't work out. I've struggle with acne and bad skin/nails for a long time so finally want to try some skincare routines beyond applying lotion.
For being the dollar tree, I don't think you can complain too too much. Yeah one or two ingredients might be "off" or "offputting" but it is more affordable, so all in all, IMHO, it's worth it. On inci sites like incidecoder, cosdna or even paula's choice, it's listed as a film-forming agent, texturizer or even an emollient.
