I feel like you only got the auto heatpress a few months ago, gosh time flies! Fingers crossed that these tumbler presses are much more reliable than the old ones. Always love it when Dean makes appearances in the videos, he always seems super unimpressed (in the nicest way possible) and it makes me giggle as he is exactly like my partner 🤣

Great idea for efficiency to pre-pack your tumblers and now you have a great way to identify them!! I think it’s always useful to prepackage your stock wherever possible as it will save you loads of time at the packing stage. Maybe you could do the same with mugs if you ever pre make any of those for launches? 😊

I also have this tumbler press and I found a way where the smaller tumblers are in direct contact with the press by using silicon pads.
So you have to use the thickest pad and just put it behind the mug/tumbler on one side. By doing this, the other side will be in direct contact with the press and it is also tight enough because of the pad on the other side. You have to turn it one or two times.

@@KatnippStudios I love that the press is auto! But I have also some small mugs, and I tried the same method with the pad, but unfortunately it didn’t work. I think it has to do something with the mugs, because the method did worked with the tumblers.

Yeh this tumbler press is very iffy, it lacks enough pressure and heat nearer the ends so long things have issues also 2 11oz mugs at a time i can not do as they have fading so habe to still do 1 at a time and have the mug in the middle.
Mine has already started bubbling too on the top white coat as well as alot of others on the autopress fb owners page
This does happen with normal press machines but not this early in their life, i reckon ive 5 months left and it will fully mess up my mugs
Im going back to a normal tumbler press
Htvront stuff are style over substance, they look nice but not fully upto the job.
I got rid of the auto press and went back to a normal heat press too always having oressure issues and i get zero issues with a normal press
Luckily you have a fair gap from the bottom of the tumbler so less likely to get issues but if you ever want to do a full wrap where theres as little gaps its where fading tends to happen

It’s a shame about the pressure on the auto press for you! We love ours for tote bags and mousemats we still use it daily, although we do prefer the clam shell for higher pressure items! Xxxxx

I think it comes from years of practice, and experimentation, but writing down collection Ideas is a good place to start, Planning is another god place, also I Sometimes have ideas for products/projects that take years to fulfil, so you dont have to do it all in one year, sometimes I will leave a collection for the following year, it seems like a long time, but I've realised you can't do it all at once! Rome wasn't built in a day as they say heheh, although it can be tempting heheh
