You guys should touch on the most recent Outfit news, the Gary Gagliano Crew ordeal re: Mean Gene Cassano & Giaocchino Galione. One of the craziest trials at Doerksen Fed Bldg in many years. All charges were dropped because the words 'LCN/OC' were spoken aloud

I know I heard about that. Also,burnstein was forbid from posting the Gino Cassano story, even though he was covering extensively and has connects inside that crew. not sure specifically what occurred but it appears that it was serious enough to persuade him from posting the piece

Someone above (their comment is no longer visible) commented implying that Gianni was warned to not discuss the Outfit on this podcast, which I can believe, because other mafia-related podcasts have run into roadblocks when attempting to report on contemporary Chicago LCN. But it was seriously one of the most fascinating & entertaining/dramatic Mafia trials in many years in Chicago
