    Since I started making these videos in 2017, I have been lucky enough to receive the support of some manufacturers with materials to use in my videos. Since May 2018, Chestnut Products have provided me with stains, an iridescent paints sample set, lacquers and waxes. I'd like to thank them for their kind and generous support. Martin Saban-Smith has provided me with a sample set of Intrinisic Colours.
    All other products and tools, unless where indicated, have been bought from suppliers at retail prices. Products mentioned in my videos are for information purposes so that viewers know what I have used.

    Nice one Stewart. Good to see the patent pending 'personal paint anti splatter device' is still getting used. I remember its first outing!

    Wish I could give several thumbs up. I saw the texturing and centrifugal spinning but I thought it was just one color and you painted normal rings for the rest. Spinning each color was just awesome. I can see doing colors for each season as well. Thanks for sharing this technique.

    Glad to see a recorded video again. The texture doesn't show for most of the video but the close ups show it very well. It must slightly change the trajectory of the paint as it moves, quite nice!
    I'm afraid I can't compete with your Covid hair any more. My wife had enough and cut it herself. 😞 So I'm a bit jealous, I was hoping to reach ponytail length to relive my hippy days.

    Great to see you back! Love the turning. I take it that the box around the turning is to keep the paint from flying all over. When you plan to texture, do you sand any at first, or not at all since you are texturing? Thanks.

    • @stewartfurini
      @stewartfurini  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers, Joseph - I might give a little light sanding or burnishing with shavings to the texture on this if it's particularly fuzzy. On this occasion it didn't really need that. I quite like the rough feel.

      Thanks and welcome, Calvin. I'm delighted to have a new subscriber! Over paint I usually use a gloss lacquer, sometimes matt, and on very rare occasions just microcrystalline wax, but the lacquer is much more durable. Cheers!
