Your mistake was only hearing Batman beat Superman, and not hearing the part that it happened in Dark Knight Returns, which is a Frank Miller elseworlds story and not actual DC canon.

People always say "batman always beats Superman with kryptonite" but what they don't know is that it has literally never happened in the main continuity. In fact Batman has lost every canon fight they've had. DC isn't dumb they know main canon Superman is the real deal.
@@spasebar I'm honestly fine with that being the time Batman can say he beat Superman because it makes the most sense for him to. There's never gonna be a situation where he deserves to be the victor more than in Dark Knight Returns. And even when he fights Superman in continuity it's usually him not trying to win but help Supes overcome mind control like in Batman Hush or in Endgame during Batman New 52 where Superman was infected with Joker toxin. You can make an exception for Injustice and that's only cause Superman is evil in that universe and it's not canon.

Xeno goku is also immune to erasure lol. He's also immune to time hax/manipulation, space manipulation,etc. Things db just didn't show or forget to add in

This is one of few times Superman didnt have to hold back and really fight. That is really the reason he enjoyed fighting Goku. And Goku saw this the opportunity to fight someone stronger than him so Goku can keep learning and get stronger himself

@@camlo1134 I wouldn’t think so. Historically, Death Battle has ALWAYS gotten the TFS crew from DBZA to voice any Dragon Ball characters participating in a Death Ball. The only exception before now was Kirby VS Majin Buu, where there was no DBZA voice actor for so they just used official voice clips from the show and video games.
Not only did MasakoX play Goku in the both of previous Goku VS Superman fights, but they also got Lanipator to voice Vegeta in Vegeta VS Shadow and Vegeta VS Thor. They got KaiserNeko to voice Trunks in Trunks VS Silver, and most recently, they got LittleKuriboh to voice Frieza in Frieza VS Megatron.
So why switch from the TFS crew now?

Don't be salty lol Goku never had a chance. Superman is more powerful. There's too many counter abilities he has that Goku doesn't stand a chance against. 85 years of history of Superman just obliterates anything Goku can do but Goku always proves in these fights he is always a worthy warrior.

@@T_money808 They did use Xeno Goku and CC Goku though. Even if they use GF/JF Goku, there's Dr.Manhattan Superman, Milkman Superman and CAS. Also, GF/JF Goku is an elseworld story, not actual canon. Otherwise, they should include elseworld versions of Superman as well.

CC Goku is amped by the toki toki giving him control of infinite multiverse/ Omniverse as well as time and space, CC beats Xeno Goku and they hadn’t used the full extent of Xeno Goku either not to mention universal SSB. Canon is a loose term in the db fandom. Using JF Goku CAS couldn’t beat him, GF Goku pretty much can enter our world
They didn't make the comment that they made because they "know Goku should have won". They made the comment because at the end of the day, people take these Death Battles too serious and throw a lot of hate at the Death Battle crew whenever their favorite characters end up losing. Their closing comment was saying that at the end of the day, you don't have to agree with the results. You can still like whichever character you want and feel however you want about them. If you feel they should have won, then more power to you. We aren't here to hate on characters we don't like and throw shade at the people who do like them. At the end of the day, we are all here just to have fun and to relive that childhood nostalgia of being kids by "smashing action figures together" with cool over-the-top animated battles.
That's pretty much the whole point of their closing comments. You don't have to agree with the results. We're all just here to have a good time.

But Yeah they combined and made the Strongest possible Goku. and even said they had skewed and assumed as positive position for him on the numbers as they could. They Took everything. Even basically fanfiction concepts that were never cannon. And Games that were Def not the same goku from the main line. And they merged those together. The Superman is similar. So they did that for both really. Only the Superman one is more an official reason.

Just be happy with the fact they acknowledged that goku would kick the ass of all but the top 5% of superman iterations. For example if they used DCAU or zack snider superman vs movie goku the movie almost wouldn't matter because goku would stomp so long as it was a post planet namek movie.

IMHO, the best way to view this SB (& all DB's for that matter) is if the viewer can set aside their own ego & fanbase bias & just watch it for the *entertainment* value. After all, it's all fiction & fantasy with no effect on our world or the universe. How a person *feels* about something is also irrelevant to the world at large because "feelings" are an individual's trait & regardless of love or hate, Joy or sadness, the world keeps on turning, the biosphere keeps living & a person's emotional state has no effect on any of it.
Regardless of who wins or loses, the fight itself is awesome! This was an act that brings the house down (literally), because what kind of an encore could possibly follow after the multiverse has been shattered? 🤗

I have noticed a lot of Goku fans get overly butt hurt by the fact he lost. This was both of the characters at their core. Goku is fighting one Superman the Main Canon one. The one that can sneeze a whole Universe away, He holds back cause he actually protecting the people he fights against. Due to how powerful he actually is. IF you don't read his comics, most people always says he's "Broken", when he is as strong as he needs to be in the Situation. Goku wanted him at his best. Goku got what he wanted and lost. Superman is way to strong and people can't handle that fact. Mind you I am a fan of both. Even I knew Goku can't beat Superman.
What about Zeno goku and CC goku

Superman's existence can't be erased so that hakia ability, that goku still isn't really good at, wouldn't work. Not even beerus or the omni king could erase him. Batman has also never beaten superman, they didn't say he did either. They specifically brought that up to say it's a non canon story that takes place in an alternate universe. They're going with the main canon superman, not alternate versions of him. Goku should not have won because he's weaker than Superman by an astronomical amount. Superman is simply too far beyond him. They weren't admitting goku should have won, just poking fun at db fans complaining at death battles math.

First of all goku and vegeta can't use zenkai boost anymore as they had reached their limit with that as it was explained in the goku black arc. Second, even if they hadn't, the zenkai boost only takes effect after they've recovered from their wounds. That's why during the namek arc when vegeta was taking advantage of it he needed dende to heal him in order to get the boost. You think I'm biased because I'm stating facts clown? I've watched dragon ball since I was a kid and have read the manga. I've been reading comics for years, I know who is stronger and it's superman. Even if the zenkai boost worked as you incorrectly think it does, it wouldn't be enough. Superman is so vastly more powerful than goku that the zenkai boost wouldn't matter. Superman is stronger, deal with it.

I love how Death Battle is lying to DB fans… this isn’t the strongest Superman. Superman like Batman has a whole fortress full of shit that makes him more powerful. They kinda touched on it in Vegeta vs Thor but that Thor wasn’t using all his gear either. High end Comic Book characters are cracked. Death Battle is using those characters at their base levels and they are still way more powerful than anyone in Dragonball because they fight higher order being’s fairly regularly.
It mostly comes down to the fact that the cosmology of the Marvel and DC multiverses are on an entirely different level to most other franchises, with a much larger variety of characters. The relatively “simple” characters of DB simply can’t compete with the heavy hitters of Marvel and DC.

I dont think Dragon Ball will ever go the route of feats that DC has always done. Goku's story is about getting stronger, and those other stories its about using your power to do the right thing.
Like i dont see how, with all these abilities, Superman couldnt just travel across many galaxies absorbing the energy of hundreds of millions of stars and then use all that power to spin around the edge of their universe, going fast around it on the opposite direction it spins, going so ridiculously fast that he goes back in time, then finds baby Goku in his saiyan pod, and punches him so hard that he creates dozens of new timelines with their own multiverses where he destroys goku in each one of them.
That’s clearly not the path Goku is going down
