i ordered one of the 205s back in febuary/ march i had a 15 min go in it on a demo day. i like it alot especialy the half leather seat with aircon very quiet machine. i felt that the back window didnt open enough when backing trailers?
They still make me think of the old schluter tractors from Germany but they are growing on me. Hopefully I’ll get chance to get into one and have a proper look round. If you got one would that make rescue 1 redundant 🤔🤪
I grew up with Massey Ferguson's back in the 60's and 70's. We had the 35 & 65 most of the 100 and 200 series. Today I have a Older but very nice MF 3070 92hp well kept in barn. Also a 539 IMT same as a 35 Massey Ferguson. Would like to have a new 5713 Massey. Good information on your video.
Looks great, but what will it be like in 30 to 40 years time. My old Massey 565 40 plus years old, I can get spares for it with no problems. This nice tractor for now, but too much to go wrong in years to come, so sadly a lot of tractor for a breakers yard. My 6150 is still a great tractor. I am still showing an interest in farming, as I have had connections all my 56 years of life, but now virtually got our of farming, but I still have the tractors and machinery.
It's styling is a bit marmite, I understand the reasoning, from front and inside looks good, but side and back not so good. If it's chandlers we had a demo around Apr I think.
It's definitely nicer in the flesh and when you get in that cab it's just a lovely place to be! I would be worried about everything running through the computer as we all know electrical issues are the worst so who knows what gremlins lie ahead!
@@FourWindsFarm massey have definitely worked hard to (in my opinion) make the best operator environment on the market but I'm with you on everything through the touchscreen. What's ur thoughts on where the key is
Best review I've seen on the 8s, shame couldn't see it doing more but the walk round was great. Chomping at bit to have a go in 1 but would rather the vt trans coz 265hp to much for loader work really lol. Cheers n beer's from New Zealand guy's 👍👍🍻🍻🚜👨🔧🇳🇿🇳🇿
Lovely looking tractor but I can’t help but think Massey missed a point in not making it a 5 pillar cab as sometimes you just need some fresh air . Possibly an option like JD do on their cab and Claas? Cool box is a copy of Claas’s !!! 100% with you on the radio. DAB all the way now and there’s channels for everyone then. Electric handbrake 👍. About time Massey left the Stone Age behind 😂. All looks good but Massey definitely need to get a move on and get the Dyna VT version released before losing customers 👍
Nice review and great looking tractor. But selecting pto is not handy, and also not possible on a selectable switch( to program two speeds) You were saying shifting true 22 gears but it has 28. I could not find the last 6 gears😅. They should not use different numbering to the gears. And yes the indicator is joke for such expensive tractor 🙈
Thank you for your review, we’re pleased you liked the tractor. We have shared your video on our Facebook page. 👍
Hey thanks for that, it was a lovely machine! If you ever want to show anything else off let us know 👍

The cab reminds me of the 2640 range of tractor,,, massive cab, looks superb. Nice vid👍
Excactly! There's lots of Massey heritage in this design. I love it too.

That same thought struck me too
Totally agree about the stereo Mat, why do all of the OEM's put crap ones in you pay 100k ish for a tractor its the very least you can expect. 👍
Exactly Mark 👍

Thanks Donald 👍 I'm hoping to go back in time with the farmer and his dad and go through all the different tractors they have had along the way!

Damn 😮, these things have more tech than my s-class 🤔
Another brilliant video, them 8s masseys look amazing!!!
It was a really cool tractor! 👍
Serious piece of kit Matt, but very interesting, thanks for the video and best wishes to you all from EA.
Cheers Colin 👍
Very nice tractor, got the old 2000 series look
Good afternoon who do you actually work for?
It is a beast of a tractor 🚜 8s dust Keith like 👍 Matt will the farmer 👩🌾 buy a new tractor 🚜 to go with the fleet of massey you have
U did the same as me. Was really on the fence about its styling ect until saw 1 in the flesh. So we'll thought out instant hit with me

That looks awesome I hope they do a 7s if so we might get one or a JD 155r
Nothing like a nice new toy..... that's a nice tractor...

Cant have too much power for a loader
Thanks Magnum 👍

In the previous masseys they have done 6 pillars but in this one I would guess that it's just for visabilaty
They have a 5s which is the new drop nose (but you probably know)
I t
Yes there is a 5s though the Bonet seems to touch the window
how much does this tractor cost, thank u.
The rep told me this tractor would be in the £125,000 ball park! Big money!
The 8s is a game changer
great review 👍
very nice tractor Matt looks the buisness do you think you will have one hope you get better soon
Great video again
The indicators are self canceling if you don't take the switch past the detent then drive approximately 100 metres

I did change the armrest and rightconsole on my 7465 😅
Are Deere came with a good one as standard that’s the radio
Do you have much ragwort down there
It's not showing up yet but give it a week or two and it will be about I'm sure!
I guess the gap between the engine and cab must really reduce the sound transmission.
It was quite strange to hear the mower over the engine keithy was impressed with how quiet it was! 👍
Nice one Matt, been waiting for this one. 👌🏻👌🏻
love it!!
I have a case puma 200 cvx and that has a better radio than in any tractor I have tried
Is it a new one?
@@simonhallgren5648 yes
It's not that it wasn't ample, it should be decent in this day and age 👍
nice massey
Could cut a bit of grass in my 165 for a few grand less, but no radio
Those series Massey tractor look very odd, maybe it’s just me? The series prior looked way better.
For the first time looks odd, after a time you will think that is amazing style, this happened to me
Ugly tractor
It's got a nice personality though!
