I personally don't mind the longer videos. It's educational for both seasoned and new stylists. The slow pace allows you to really see what is happening. The point is to be as detailed as possible with explaining what he's doing so everyone can get something out of it. Thanks for your education Andrew!
Andrew is my favorite TH-cam educator....Andrew gives the most concise explanations on why and what works, excellent educator! what I love most is he explains the reason behind everything he does, angles, finger position, body position etc... and also the best part when he gives options for highly dense/ low density cutting options or fine/vs course hair... as a newbie to the hair industry club -this is so important because density/ texture seem are like day and night when it comes to hair.... Respect!!! Wish list is curly hair issues video.. I'm sure that will be eye opening ;)
I agree with all the other comments about the finger and eye tip! Such a great explanation, not only for our own sanity, but nice way to explain to your client why it might appear a tad longer on that side, if they don’t want a fringe, or bang area! Thank you, awesome job!!👏👏
This morning, I follow your tips to remove the bulk behind the ears by myself and the weight at the back of my short bob hair with the help of daughter. Both techniques work nicely. Also, I used these skills cut my young daughter’s super thick long hair to thin ones that worked nicely too. We both feel more comfortable. Thank you for share such particular information on hair cutting. Wish you a good business.
You're an excellent hair designer. Love it. Wonderful job. I would love to remove my head so I could cut my hair exactly like this. Thank you for sharing your gift.
I do this to one of my curly ladies we do this because the top is really curly and the bottom just stays super straight so we do this type of haircut on her and it looks amazing
At the very beginning, for the first cut you're saying, "90 degree angle". Where is that angle? Between what and what? Apologies if its a given in the biz, but I can't see a 90 degree angle in any relationship from here. Thanks!
Never mind! I found your foundations video, rewatched this one, and see that you are saying 90 degrees from the head SHAPE which is a curve, so this is a guesstimate, and there will be only a few hairs which are technically drawn out 90 degrees from the melon. As a very literal thinker, this was not a given.
I did not understand why it was 90 degrees, because to me it looked more like 45ish degrees? It's 90 degrees in relation to what? What's the reference point?
When he says " do it like this, you don't want to do it like this" ME: that's exactly what I do😳💀 Edit: after watching the entire video, I realized how sh*ty my beauty school education was....

Hi from Qatar 🇧🇭
Hello 😊

is there a possibility for translating this into German or other languages..? I have seen those translations in other you tube videos...
We have subtitles turned on so hopefully TH-cam makes a german subtitle available.
