Compy -> micro raptor ->archaeopteryx -> dilo -> raptor -> deinonychus -> Carno -> allo -> yutyrannus -> Spino -> Rex -> giga
Maybe a theri between carno and allo, cause the difference between those two is huge

For progression to next dino:
- have at least 2 sets of mature offspring
- have at least 1 mate
- have a home territory (nest/den)
- kill the dino which you will progress to
Maybe also add herbivores in the progression line. Like:
Parasaur --> dilo --> trike --> raptor --> and so on
Another progression idea you have to get to a certain level and you go higher up the progression list
Or whatever you kill you become (start with dodo) and try to go to like spino or something

Here's a idea as requirements you have to mate and hatch atleast one egg and must kill the next tier before you can advance. Either you breed up alot of babies to help u kill the next tier or you tame things to help you kill the next tier however you like.

Idea of rules for a progression mode.
1. Survive, if you are killed you have to go back one progression stage for each time.
2. To progress to the next staged dino you must: find a mate, breed, build a nest or home (mammals), hatch or finish gestation and have a baby. Only after an offspring is born you are allowed to progress.
3. There should be 4 set progression routes such as aquatic, flyer, land carnivore, and land herbivore. *semiaquatics could be there own route or just an extension of the land routes.* Starting dinos for each route could be piranha, dilo, dimorphadon, and lystro. Ending dinos could be giga, wyvern, kraken, and titanosaur. If semiaquatics are a route they could start with diplocaulus and end with spino. Oh yeah and depending on what dlc you own you could also make area specific routes like desert and cave.
There may be some other rules that could work well but I feel that these guidelines would at least keep it somewhat balanced and make progression a bit more challenging.

I'm late to the party, but maybe make it required that you protect the egg until it hatches? idk how long that'll take, but it seems really arbitrary when you die right afterwards especially to the other dilos who would've eaten your egg and used your nest as their own. Your line would've ended there.
add in if you die you have to go back to the last Dino you was before you died and you can only progress till you get 10 levels first

The lystro line of herbivores
Lystro --> mosschops --> phiomia --> daeodon --> chalicotherium --> paracerithium
Or you could do an evolution from ground dinos into birds? ;)
Raptor --> terrorbird --> deinonychus --> archeopterix --> vulture --> Argentavis

I like the progression idea. If moths can breed I would add them in a flyer line, dimorph, microraptor, moth, ptera, Argy and quetzal. I think to progress it would be find a mate, build a nest, lay egg, raise baby to adulthood and then you're ready to progress

Its a good idea, it definitely needs more steps before you are allowed to progress though. Also you should start off as a titanomyra ant.
4 progression idea
carnivore progression: dilo, raptor/saber/ravager/wolf, deino, kapro, carno, bary, allo, sarco ,yuty, rex, then giga/ reaper queen
herbivore progression: lystro or dodo, moschops, pego, pachy, para, pachyrhino, trike, stego, diplo, parcer, rhino, mamoth, bronto, titan
flier progression: bug, icthy, pele, pt, tapi, trope, argent, quetzal, wyvern, then space whale
swimmer progression: coel/phirrana/trilobite, otter, ground goose, icthy, eel, shark, plesi, dunkle, mosa/tuso, modded thing better than mosa or eel boss from genisis

should have had giga at the very end, since gigas are more rare and therefor harder to come by... either that or make it so you have to at least get the baby to an adolescent before progression
This is a cool vid though I feel like it went a bit too quick.
Instead of spawning exactly where you'd find the creatures you could spawn somewhere else further away and have to survive the journey there
Or wait until the eggs hatch before progressing, just to make it not feel too quick.

Now this is the mod I was hoping to find. Just not sure which version of the mod is being used or it's part of a pack of mods. So glad I picked up the Steam version of Ark that went on sale today.
Why not make a human evolution chain? Start off as a fish (sabretooth salmon or the coelenath) evolve into a beezlebuffo. From the frog you evolve into the mesopithecus. Breed your way into a gigantopithecus and then you evolve into a human (syntac model would be hillarious) 😁😁😁

If you go a tiny smidge north of beach zone 1 there's a lot of rexes
I feel like spin should be more op than giga because they were bigger and had more options for movement but gigs make some sense due to the being the biggest meat eater to focus on the land
Looks like the first person camera attaches to the first person arms, so it just ends up hovering in mid air unattached when you play as a dino.
Missed opportunity could've had the carno before the allo but still great none the less
Chorgie Porginson made a comment on Lighbulb_Head comment about doing a reverse of what they shared, going from giga down and I thought that was pretty neat idea, a reverse situation, just a little lime light for a comment on a comment to maybe boost it up

I would say compy-dilo-raptor/deino-carno-allo-rex/yuty- giga. You have to survive to at least level 35-40, kill up to 50 dinos, breed, hatch egg, survive until baby is full grown and get to at least level 10-15, final batter of a dino of same species or one grade/class higher. If you die before reaching final battle you start back at the first dino in progression tree. Once you reach giga level a full on battle with another giga one on one.
You should do a video where you start of as a compy and then what ever you kill you become

The progression line that would have made sense since you tried to keep the quills would have been this
Pego > Dilo > Raptor > Carno > Allo > Spino > Rex > Giga

Start as a Compy, progress to a dilophasoaur then a Raptor, then you can progress to a Carnotaurus, then a Allosaurus, then rex, yuta and giga you can only progress to higher dino after you killed at least 10 dinosaurs, and have a family of 5 and if you die before you're a Allosaurus or higher you have to ho back to the dinosaur before the one you're at
How about with this one you do next time start as a compy and end as a giga or another could be bird evolution start as a fetherlight then microraptor to archer to argentavis to phoenix (if is able to mate) and end as terra bird (I'm not sure if I've missed a bird but maybe could even add in some fethered dinos in to have more sizes or end bigger like a yuty)

I think you should start with something big and work your way down so it gets harder the further you get

Bugs progression
Ant->araneo->scorpion->mantis->karkinos->broodmother and then you fight the entire server(gotta use another criteria than breeding tho, like maybe lvl or time survived)

to do a true progression you should set a min lvl to obtain first before finding a mate, and then also have to raise a child to adult and kill one of what you are going to next

i would say, dodo - micro raptor - dilo - raptor - allo - wyvern - spino - rex - giga - DODO REX. some of my rules: dodo kill 3 compy's, micro raptor kill 5 dodos, dilo kill 6 micro raptors, raptor kill 4 deinonychuses, allo ki// 2 bracyasaruses, wyvern kill 1 t-rex, spino kill 3 spinos, rex get to eggs, giga kill 3 rex's (if you can even be a giga), dodo rex kill 4 bracyasaruses. done also i love watching you AxeMan! (sorry if theres alot of miss spelling)
easy start off as a pt then move onto a tap and angy and then a Quetzel

@@MmmKozichka the coelacanth, salmon, and piranha are all bugged and you can't ride them and will instead just spawn next to it, so maybe a trilobite or something instead
also, a mosa would probably be higher up than the leedsichthys
Leeds is the strongest thing in the water not including alpha
Thats why they aren't tamable
@@Th3realevil no, wild ones always spawn at level 1 with somewhere between 4-5 thousand health, while a normal mosa can get way higher health and damage.
i've also played as one before on axe's server and even with the starting level as 30 mosas and squids are stronger for sure
also, the fish are tamable with a fish trap

My line is Dodo,then terror bird, then yuty, then Experimetal Giga
start as a dimorph and go to pteranodon and then griffin and then wyvern
The dilos are very common but its classic ark everything is rare when you want it.
