Stick a bit of tape behind the master when you know what output you’ll need and then adjust channels with their gain pots. Then you don’t need to worry about being a clumsy dj and won’t knock the master down
You can use the USB port at the back of the mixer to connect to tractor on you're laptop without needing anything else. However you can only control it on channel 1 one the mixer.
I've tried this mixer and the only thing irritating me were the faders, when i put the fader(s) halfway up the volume stayed very quiet and in the 2nd half it would jump to a louder volume instead of gradually moving from 0 to 10. If that were adjustable then this was a great mixer
MING LIANG I would personally look into using a different mixer for using the fader for scratching but you may find this mixer fader perfect for the task.
Chandra Reddy Hi, you don't need to buy anything more all you have to do is plug the mixer via cable into the laptop on channel one and select the device 'DJM900' when setting up in trakor. However you only get the function of channel one when trying to send or return to/from you're laptop.
Dj Friza to be heard as if it were a single channel of sound perceived as coming from one position (unlike stereo, which uses two channels to convey the impression of sound coming from different places from left and right).
If you’re watching this in 2022… don’t buy this mixer. Just don’t. It’s utter crap. The sound quality is garbage, build quality is comically bad, the effects are completely useless (they arguably sound worse than no effects at all) and it WILL break sooner rather than later.
I'm using it. I think the sound quality is better than my Pioneer DJM250 MK2. The effects are a joke I fully agree, too complicated but the mixer handles quite well. Not bad for 300 bucks if only bedroom mixing.
@@joeheffernan01 never used a 250 mk2, but if the sound is worse than this Behringer, then I can’t believe Pioneer would even put their name on that mixer. I gave the Behringer a shot as a second mixer, for use only at my home, but even then I couldn’t use it.
Really, this mixer is disappointing, or worse, it is not of the best quality, despite the fact that I tried it with our expensive Yamaha monitors, they are overloaded and tall and undefined, I have a 15-year-old gemini that sounds much better even though it doesn't have unbelievable things like this Behringer
Effects
1.0 HI/LO pass 25/5
1.1 HI/LO pass 15/15
1.2 HI/LO pass 5/25
1.3 HI/LO pass/flanger on beat 25/25

2.0 Fcks up MID something like demon+rewerb

Would of been more useful if you could of showed how the effects actually perform with some music playing - but a good review and cheers!
