Be careful mate, 18650 batteries can vent if the battery wrap touches something metal and you end up with a dead short. An 18660 can easily blow your hand off, seriously man. Those batteries require care and proper maintenance. If the tolerances are too tight and the battery wraps are tearing or getting stuck, it’s worthless and dangerous.
Thanks mate, great review again. Reliability is key for me. It does feel that they’ve created a so called budget machine living off the name of flux max but charging more than a budget machine should be.
You need to send that machine back for an exchange . My “one’s” battery is no where near tight. Fits in there pretty loosely. I have zero complaints about it so far. Here in the USA it comes with a two year warranty.
It stopped working completely and was sent for repair 2 days after posting the review. Had a few parts replaced and is working again. Also comes with the same warranty in the UK. When it was working it worked well.
I’ve had this particular machine for a few months and I absolutely hate removing the batteries. It’s extremely inconvenient in my opinion. That’s my biggest complaint. Other than that I enjoy using it.
Hi. What's about the fact that FK One is not fully disassembling for cleaning completely? I think in 2024/2025 could be a must based on the tattoo industry rules
The problem you have is the rules vary world wide. For instance in the Uk and other countries the only thing that needs to be sterile is the part that makes direct contact with broken skin. So… If you use membrane cartridges, Clean and barrier you machines correctly and handle your cartridges correctly then the need to disassemble a machine is not necessary. For reference, I’ve taken apart a flux that was used daily for 2 years and the internals of that machine were immaculate. No dirt, no ink residue, not a single client have an issue with their tattoos in the entire time that machine was used. However I do agree that we should be allowed to disassemble our machines for maintenance purposes or to change cams. But yeah these industry rules are sadly non existent. The safety standards that some of the machines are made to are medical grade, if there was an issue chances are they wouldn’t be able to be produced under such standards.
I have a One Machine for 1 yr and its just stopped working and cutz back in when it wants to ..crazy great machine but mine died in less than a yr...no plug in jump start kills thiis machine
New model but same old crap quality! any FKIron clown has better quality indeed. With G.H (was caught cheating I..) gone their customer service is worse than ever.

Sounds like i made the right call going for a prime then. Messing about with the battery would have absolutely done my head in.
I've had this one since release and have no worries with it it's a solid day to day machine 💪. Another great episode have a great day 😀

Totally agree

Hi Chris
I’ve daily driven it for over a year. Not a fault yet.
That’s good! I literally had to send mine off for repair 2 days after I posted the video.
Too many bells and whistles. Direct drives are a better option
