Yeah… removed the rubber bung, and inserted an Allen key. It was quite hard to remove….and even trickier to get back in. It’s something to do with it off the bike. But, it’s really loud without it…. Too loud really.
The website suggests it’s: 1.27kgs lighter Adds 5.9% BHP Adds 3.8% Torque Not sure on running temp, however you’d think the absence of a Cat, would mean it would breath better, less back pressure? Could equal cooler, but I’m not 100%.
It’s a lovely quality exhaust, and yes, it sounds great, BUT. Why would anyone spend over 10% of the bike’s cost on an exhaust system that’s going to draw attention to themselves? If used off road on by ways it’s just going to irritate anyone else using the track, and get all riders a bad name. Ultimately, it’s modifications like this that will lead to a ban on motorcycles using by ways. It could of course also lead to the riders of such machines being prosecuted. I just don’t get it - over £700 to irritate others, and risk prosecution!
I added an additional screen baffle to my Yoshi so it’s about as quiet as the original…however, it delivers a noticeable increase in torque, power, and throttle response. Well worth it.
So wrong, you shouldn't show people the wrong way to do it.Always let it get up to operating temperature. And then some before revving it up with new exhaust..😢

Been struggling to find a video where I can hear this exhaust. This really sounds good. Well done!
I installed this system on my Rally and absolutely love it. Louder, yes, but it gave me a bit more torque and top end power.
Great video. It's very informative 👏 love how manufacturers still cater for the lower cost bikes.... Keep the mods coming🎉
Hello, thanks for this nice instruction video. Could you tell what the torque value for the exhaust header bolts shoud be please? Thanks!
There isn’t a specific value for header nuts… for some reason Honda doesn’t seem to list them. Just don’t go daft (I know that doesn’t help🙈 sorry)
Did your MPG change much with the full exhaust?
Because we put it on right away, I don’t really have anything to compare it to.
I wish this is accurate. Thanks for the complete test!
It won’t be too far away!👌🏻👌🏻
@@SmallboreAndMore i hope so. It's my first ever aftermarket exhaust and I didn't expect it to be this loud. 99db is the limit here
It’s defo too loud without the baffle
Did you remove the baffle with an island key?
Yeah… removed the rubber bung, and inserted an Allen key. It was quite hard to remove….and even trickier to get back in. It’s something to do with it off the bike. But, it’s really loud without it…. Too loud really.
How much lighter is it and does it run cooler?
The website suggests it’s:
1.27kgs lighter
Adds 5.9% BHP
Adds 3.8% Torque

@@SmallboreAndMoreThank you for the quick answer!
Yes it runs cooler, no more heat on right leg.
What did you torque the header to? Thanks
I don’t think there is a torque for the header… just not daft and check again after a few heat cycles
Thanks. Do you know what the torque specs are?
You just bought noise and a minor weight saving. The decibel scale is logarithmic, not linear and noise doesn't make power.
Not worth it to me,plus it looks like a bit of a hassle to install.Stock is fine. This isn't a Harley.

Fair play to you Bobby, that’s a considerate move. @@BobbyDraws.me2
