It's amazing to me how this song is so simple and yet conveys emotions that are way more complex. For this song to work with as few musical elements as it uses means that the ones it does use have to be incredibly well polished, and they are. Billie's control over her voice is shown off in this song really well, and even though Finneas's part is meant to be complementary I could listen to the simple melody of that guitar all day. Phenomenal Musicians.

I agree. In fact, I think this is her best acoustic performance of ANY of her songs. To be honest, I wasn't too crazy about the "Love Letter to Los Angeles" version with the symphony. Waaaaay too musically crowded. Her vocal inflections really shine through when it's just Finneas on the guitar.
Imo, this is by far the BEST acoustic performance she's ever done. Having to soften her voice really allows the seductiveness of the lyrics to come out.
