John suffered from cancer of the jaw. He underwent a marathon surgery, with reconstruction of his jaw involved. He has since said he is now cancer free. He is now 75 years old and I do not think singing publicly is high on his agenda of things to do. We all wish him well and are thankful he has a large catalogue of songs and performances available to view so we can still be enchanted by his superb voice and magnificent personality. We love him and wish only the best for him and his family.

This man is the greatest and most versatile male vocalist of all time, he can sing anything, any genre. A lot of John’s songs have a powerful and positive message to convey. He’s such an outstanding performer, incredible live, everything and with over 50 years of performing there’s so much of John’s great music out there to discover.

Thank you - so good to seeing you reacting to our John again. He is the absolute VOICE the GOAT. He sings his songs with perfect emotion and passion for the lyrics and his band is always incredible too. He has phenomenal voice and breath control. Besides perfect notes, gorgeous tone and stage charisma, he is a beautiful man inside and out. ❤🎉😂

John is 75 now and he has given us a lifetime of music. Five consecutive decades of number one albums that even Michael Jackson couldn’t move from number one. COVID stopped him singing and then cancer. Last night we heard him talk on TV again. His book is about to be released at the end of the month. John and his wife Jill narrated the audio version. John wasn’t allowed to sing his songs or his kind of music or wear what he wanted until he was 38. He was no longer Johnny and his life until then was so hard. People need to back off now and stop demanding he sing again. He has done more than anyone else would or could, he always gave more than 100% in every way. Let him have some peace with his family.

Of course we all hope he will perform again. And his sons say, "never say never". But honestly, he has put in the hard yards for decades entertaining us all. He deserves his retirement. But he also knows, without doubt, that if he did ever do one more concert......the whole of Australia would turn up.
Next up check out "It's a Long way to the Top" live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra ...
It's an ACDC cover and so much energy and fun on the stage and in the audience.❤❤

IF John ever sings again, let’s get tickets for the same concert and sit next to each other with a few others in here lol.
Oh to dream, we’d have a ball. I have another plan if he never performs again and I’m not tell you lol. My friends think it’s a great idea. But probably, maybe would never happen 🤔lol

Don't get too concerned about the 'correct' pronunciation of the name Farnham. It is pronounced differently around the world. Aussies have their own way of doing this. It's a pity that they cannot pronounce my birth name correctly and I'm an Aussie ! John's gymnastic vocal ability is wonderful and he applies this to singing in over 20 genres. He is the GOAT !

Hi new subscriber from Australia 🇦🇺
John Farnham is a legend in Australia. I have never heard him sing a bad note
If you really want to increase your subscribers I would say react to more John Farnham (known as farnsey) and another Australian legend Jimmy Barnes (known as Barnsey)
John and Jimmy actually sing a duet together called (something is wrong with my baby) which is phenomenal
Jimmy had a solo career but he was actually lead singer of a band called cold chisel (Jimmy often shared the singing with guitarist Ian Moss)
Even though in Australia we have had such great bands as INXS and AC/DC etc
Cold chisel would be thought of by many as the best band in Australia with John Farnham being the best singer (celine dion did a documentary recently and she only spoke about one other singer and that was John, she praised him for helping her and she said he is best singer she has ever heard)
I would listen to Jimmy singing (solo) to a “change is gonna
come” and with cold chisel many people start with them singing a great cover of “wild thing” but you could react to anything by cold chisel they are so good
    John singing cover of
“help” by the Beatles is also great but anything by John is great. John actually changed the way help is sung and it has been said that the way John sings it was the way John Lennon wanted to sing it
John and Jimmy are great friends and both have sung with international stars such as Olivia Newton John, Tina Turner, Celine Dion, Tom jones INXS, Sam Moore and many more
The song with INXS and Jimmy Barnes is called “good times”and it’s great..also Jimmy sings “your the best with Tina Turner”
Jimmy was actually in a band called “fraternity” with members of AC/DC before they left to become AC/DC
Both Jimmy and John are very well known by the international stars with many coming to Australia to sing with them

John Farnham had a mouth cancer removed which required a jaw resection and reconstruction . He apparently sings around the house, but may never be able to perform again. 😢
