Very very very late reply indeed.. But you should read up on the differences and strengths of the two cars. BMW had a purpose built car, more power and more speed. 3-4 years between the two... Mercedes had it's ingenious rear axle, a very good chassis and Singer in the development lab. I loved the old DTM, especially because of all the danes, but really think the DPM was better, because of the cost to race and diversity

The M3 of these years was the better handling Car, but Klaus Ludwig was the better Driver.
