Sorry, but AC input voltage is not monitored directly, it monitors full wave rectified voltage as reference for wave shape and phase of input current. PF=1 when voltage and current are in phase, i.e zero angle between those two. See the schematics in the I.C datasheet.
Yes You are right in the sample circuit diagram, it is showing that volatge can be monitored by dc rail immediately after bridge rectifier But in practical circuit it is taking ac signal from ACS710T ic. Then through rectifier and 1M ohms x3 resistors in series then reaching to pin 5 of PFC controller ic.
Because this board doesn't have any circuit diagram or service manual so that i am using sample circuit diagram from dataheets of the respective components
