Yes! These are trends I can appreciate!! Minimalism in fashion with cute flats in muted colors with a good suede bag and a great structured blazer! And I do love a good gingham fabric but I'm definitely here for the seaside trend (I live on a tropical island). These are all great trends- so happy you shared them! Finally, spring colors in spring! I'm so tired of the autumn burnt oranges, browns and sage greens brought out in spring. I love the soft tones, the icy tones, the blues and pinks. That mocha mousse is so soft and rich looking too.
Exactly right Wendi - there were a few seasons where the colours were completely put of alignment 😃
It's all down to a person's individual colouring.
I am of the autumn colour seasons so browns / olive and burnt orange are my best colours. I wear them all year round. I look dreadful in pink / blues and icy colours 😅

My favorite trend is probably the shoes, since I do already have most of these. They are classic styles. It's nice to see practical handbags, and suede has been fashionable for the past year, so there are plenty of them around at various price points. Love, love the icy pastels. I can wear those.

Marie-Anne, love the seaside trend, white being the main color and of course navy and red, just what I love. In Feng Shui resources are scares in this coming Snake year so to enhance we should wear metal colors white, gold and silver, but of course it's everybody's personal choice what to wear. White is going to be number 1 for me and with jewellery we get those great metal colors. great video again Marie-Anne. ❤❤

Shhhhhhhhh hubby doesn't know it but for the holidays he was "gifted" with a dark green sweat hoodie which he didn't wear. Of course, I wore it to the health club with my workout jeans. It's an XL and I'm a XS/S -- but it was warm and comfy getting in and out of the car.
I love rhe sea side trend, I have plenty of marinières in my closet. I might introduce some gingham too, in ice blue for example🤔🥰

Question: I love, love, love your videos. Thanks for bringing some sophistication back into dressing. I do have a question. I saw yesterday that skinny jeans are back. I will be in France and Germany for several months in the spring and am wondering if I should pack these or not. Bonjour Robin - how odd, all my contacts in the industry from designers to buyers say Non to skinnies this season! In any event skinnies only suit the very tall, very slim (very, very slim) so as with all trends/off trend trends stick to your style and what suits and flatters you 😘
In about 1961, when I was a young teenager, I had a gingham dress which I loved, and in which I thought I looked thoroughly grown-up and fashionable! It had large grey and white squares, and I wore it with a wide white belt, (also very fashionable at the time). How well I remember wearing it, and how nice to read that gingham is now once again very fashionable! Perhaps I ought to look for a gingham dress for myself again . . . !

I already saw all the striped sweaters in the shops. I wish they can make better fitting loafers with low heels. It's like they are intent on making them with a narrow toe box.
The chunky heeled loafers are certainly prevalent but you can find 'normal' loafers at most brands 😃
I know...I hate those narrow toe boxes and can't wear them either.

Oh my gosh, this was such a great video. I mean I’m taking notes like ice blue mocha mousse electric blue I mean I love it. The only thing is I’m not sure what color really suits me. I like the little chocolate brown and all that, but I don’t know if it suits me so maybe I need to join your master class, but I love the high waisted pants. I also like that I don’t have to go out and buy any more shoes. I have enough thank you for this. This is wonderful.

I've noted a fluro lime green appearing, not my fave colour, but nice to see that pop if green. I'm going to try that chocolate brown, as a cool spring and cool winter, neural and pastal shades aren't flattering for me. What would you suggest for a pear shape?? Blazer? The only things I will buy this year are a pair of simple leather black knee boots with 1.5 inch heel. Goes with everything. A modified Tyrolean hat is also in the cards.
I am currently sewing clothes for my wardrobe. I need to take painful abdominal scars into consideration. No matter what is done, I am not healing well after emergency surgery from over two years ago. Right now I am sewing basics. When finished I will have five tops, five shirts, five skirts, five trousers and five jeans. I bought several cardigans in the past year Blazers are from years gone by. I still wear my black lightweight blazer from the 50s that I took out of my Dad's closet in the early 80s. Will have fives dresses sewn up too.
My biggest project is to sew the Vogue V2074. It will be the perfect trench type coat for me. I like the retro look of it.
