I enjoy seeing what you have made with re-purposed yard from thrifting. You do great work. Thanks for the ideas! I need to check out our local thrift stores to see what we have.
❤❤❤ this episode! Your repurposed sweater knits are inspiring! Very inspiring! I am going to try to knit the Jasper sweater by Amy Anderson for my son (he likes my knits more than my husband) I am going to have to try a few of those cardigans that you knit…I need more hand knit cardis in my life. Keep up the good work and stay warm.
My husband is happy with the Gib II by Andrea Mowry I knit for him this summer. I used a worsted wool/alpaca blend from KnitPicks so hopefully it will keep him warm this winter!
I also love to thrift and have found lots of good yarn at Goodwill and Salvation Army. You can also look for your buttons on 75% off garments at Goodwill. I enjoyed this video.
Thank you for watching! I keep any buttons from sweaters I unravel but I don't usually buy them just for buttons unless I have a use for the rest of the sweater. It's hard when you want a specific color or size too :)
Fantastic! thank you!
We all love a good fish sweater ✨
Fishies are the best

Yes, I find it to be like an extra element of fun and adventure in the knitting! It’s like a puzzle every time

I’ve decided this is going to be my winter of cardigans! I know I get so much more wear out of them than pullovers :)

Oh that’s a nice one! I like that it’s all over mono-texture so it’s still pretty simple to the eye
❤

Suggestion: HANSTHOLM SWEATER by Petite Knits (DK and plain stockinette)
I’ve seen that one! He’s picky about fit sometimes so I’ve been debating if he’d be more tolerant of a raglan or drop shoulder…
Check out Max the Knitters patterns for your husband
I will thank you!
I'm knitting my husband the twila pullover by Christina Korber-Reith. It's aran weight, a sweatshirt style. He won't wear cardigans.🙄
If that’s a really nice one!! My husband is also not a cardigan man haha, limits the options for sure
