Can you tell me about how long the sutures are capable of holding the tear together before they dissolve enough to no longer be of help?

Hello Jacob, Sorry it took us so long to answer you.
As the ultra-resistant sutures of FF360 are not supposed to resorb at all, they will remain at the repair site to mechanically stabilize the reconstructed area as long as required. Furthermore the suture material may dissolve over the years due to natural transformation processes in the body.

@@SmithNephewDACH wow that’s awesome to hear, thank you so much. I had a meniscus repair and the first 6 weeks it just didn’t seem like a good outcome, Everytime I used it swelling would occur and it was staying inflamed. After 7 weeks everything is finally starting to feel right again. That was a long time on crutches for sure. So long that I’m actually still using them to get strength back. This was the longest recovery I’ve ever had that’s for sure.
And Ive broken 12 bones at 1 time before. Just glad everything is starting to heal.
